Convenient Location, nice hotel
Went to Springfield for a movie & shopping getaway weekend. We have stayed at this hotel before and liked it then. Since the remodel, it is even nicer. Comfortable beds, clean. The only drawback is that there are no stairs into the pool--if you aren't comfortable climbing a ladder to get out of the pool, don't count on swimming.

Great Vietnamese/Thai restaurant a couple of miles away on Wabash Street--Little Saigon. Terrific food.

Great midway stop!
The quality of Marriott beds and bedding without the cost of a Marriott hotel. The lobby was something out of the future with a large 40inch touch screen similar to an IPad where you could look up information regarding nearby attractions, restaurants, etc. The heated pool was a hit with the kids. There's a Starbucks in the lobby as well, but breakfast is not complimentary.

The Mexican restaurant next door is great. The Lincoln Museum and Tomb are within a 5 mile drive.

Good Location, Excellent Price!
Stayed on a Saturday night for a weekend getaway. Everyone on staff was helpful and friendly. We all were totally satisfied.

Great Place, amenities need improvement
Over all it was a nice place. Front desk staff were MIA on several occasions. Minor aggravators include bad leak from ceiling dripping in Hot Tub. Hot Tub pumps wouldn't work.
