This was a basic hotel with a firm bed and a hot shower. House cleaning did a good job cleaning and the clerk at check in was very friendly and courteous. There was construction on the street outside that made it hard to get in and out of the property and there was some construction on the building itself but noise was minimal. It is close to the IU campus. I'd stay here again.

I really liked the breakfast I had at the Village Deli on Kirkwood Ave. It's about a 5 minute drive from the hotel.

Visiting IU
This was a great place to stay if you just need a place to stay. The beds were a little hard but not entirely uncomfortable. The breakfast was very basic but fresh and very good. The walls were VERY thin though. So hope you don't have loud neighbors. The location was Great though-lots of restaurants and the mall were very close. We stayed there when we went to visit Indiana University and for the price it was a good value. ITS GREAT IF YOU ONLY WANT A PLACE TO SLEEP, otherwise you somewhere else.

Nice stay. Will go back
Perfect location for us. Close to my son's dorm and places we wanted to go. Clean room. Friendly staff. I have found my go to hotel.

Good, inexpensive place to sleep
didn't spend much time in the room or the motel. On their website it did not mention an additional $15 for our pet. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Would probably stay again without the pet.

Good Value
If you're just needing a place to stay for cheap I would recommend the Travelodge. Nothing spectacular, just your basic room.

groomsmen for wedding
not bad for the price....especially if your not going to be spending much time in the room...built in safe and mini fridge dont hurt either...not to disspointed since i was there for a wedding and pretty much used the facilities minimally...had trouble getting acces to their wi fi though.....good location near lots of restraunts and stores....shares a parking lot with red lobster....thats always a thumbs up

Very good for the price
This is by no means a luxury hotel. It's your basic motel, with hallways made of cinder blocks (reminiscent of a dormitory). However, the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was great -- near shopping and IU.
