NON SMOKING
BAD....I reserved a NON SMOKING rooom, when I arrived for check in they had me in a smoking room, and the reson they gave at the front desk was "ohh you booked on Orbitz, we can not guarantee you a non smoking room, because you booked on Orbitz, and we are all booked".....BAD EXPERIENCE

nice stop over
This was a stop over point after a long day of driving. The hotel is right off the highway the area has tons of chain restaurants close by and a grocery store. Hotel room was clean, fairly comfortable and had a nice little kitchenette.

candlewood suites a great stay
It was very nice this was the beginning of our honeymoon. service was great and staff was very nice.

Nice place to stay for the ND game.
Very courteous staff. Helpful and informative. Many dining choices close by. Within a half hour of South Bend/Notre Dame.

Football Game Stay
Enjoyed a college football game on my trip. This was an extended stay hotel so the rooms were not cleaned daily and since I only stayed two nights this was not a problem, but it would be nice to have the room cleaned for the second night.

ND Football weekend
This was a great location at a reasonable price if you are traveling to watch a Notre Dame Football Game. It was a short drive to get to Notre Dame and there are many food options (especially breakfast) right around the hotel. The only downside to this hotel was the thin floors. The people who stayed above us were up between 5-6am each morning and their walking around above us woke us up! So stay on the third floor!!

Nice Room
The Candlewood Suitee of Elkhart has nice rooms they are well laid out and provide all the needs of a business traveler except for maid service.
