Notre Dame Football Game
The hotel was a very good value at a pretty good location for a N.D. football game. It was great to have a place to stay not too far away without the overpricing close to the school. The location was great because of all the resturants and stores close by. We walked to the Texas Roadhouse Rest.2 mins. away.Walmart 3 min. drive. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.Breakfast was great.I read a review that said there was no food left at the ending time for the buffet. I came late and there was plenty of everything. The apples were not as good as the ones in New England. We were very happy with our choice .

Never again!
In town for family reunion. Staff was very unfriendly. Carpet in room was filthy-dirt on bottom of our feet. Toilet was coming loose from the floor-lifted everytime you got up.Bedspread was hideous! All I could think of was bedbugs.Just had had a windstorm a few days before-parking lot still littered when we left. The morning continental breakfast was a joke!Far from being a charming country inn!

Great family environment.
Staff was excellent, very helpful and informative . Rooms were extremely nice. Great value all the way around. The only thing missing was a better selection of food items included with the free breakfast.

Nice
Came to town for ND football game. Hotel within reasonable driving distance. Rooms very nice; bath towels need renewing no fluff); almost no breakfast selection (and cream beef was downright tasteless).

Great alternative to South Bend hotels
Stayed here when I came out for an ND football game. All of the places in South Bend double or triple prices for football weekends, and many are disgusting. This hotel was about 10 miles from campus and very reasonably priced. For a 12 minute drive, I probably saved $150 and the horror of staying in some of the dumps in South Bend. Highly recommended for those looking for a place to stay for ND games - very clean, good breakfast, great people - an overall great deal. Will definitely call here first on the next trip.

We ate at DaVinci's, a moderately priced Italian restaurant. It was very good (the salads were really good), not gourmet, but big portions and decent value.

Met expectations!
We had reserved two rooms as we were traveling from Minnesota to Ohio for a vacation. The pool was adequate and clean, rooms were excellent and staff friendly. We had a dog and that was the reason for the selection of the hotel. They allowed pets. Would return in a heart beat.

Classy, quiet yet cheap
I'm so glad we chose to stay at Jameson Inn. It was so close to the Toll Road and the restaurants were within walking distance. The hotel was clean, and quiet. The staff was very accomodating. I would higly recommend this hotel. Next time I come to Elkhart I plan on staying there again.

The hotel was nice. We came for our son's Notre Dame Graduation. It was a 30 minute drive, although a senic drive. No complaints about the hotel itself.
