Humble Heart
Clean and efficient
The hotel is very clean and efficient. If you need a place to stay that is safe, conveniently near the freeway, and clean, then Microtel will serve your purpose. It does not have a business center, pool, or workout room which I would have liked. Their continental breakfast is light with cold cereal, bananas, apples, bagels, and muffins. If you have events in South Bend, it takes about 20-25 minutes to get there from the hotel.

AWESOME!
Everything was spotless & no funny smells in the room. In fact, it actually smelled good :-) The room was modern & even though it's small, it has a lot of storage space in various drawers & closets. I especially liked the pillowtop mattress, soft pillows, built-in couch + pillow near the window, the abundance of mirrors, & plenty of counter space in the bathroom. Also, conveniently located near Aldi, gas stations, & the toll road.

A good experience
I was unsure about staying at a Microtel for this trip because it was for an extended stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find this property lived up to other reviews for its cleanliness and functionality. Despite the small room size, there was seating by the window, a desk with convenient internet access, plenty of storage space, a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping did a good job maintaining the room.

very clean, enjoyed our stay
We were pleasantly surprised to find such a clean well kept place for the money we paid. We didn't eat the contenental breakfast so can't comment on that. Small room, but met our needs nicely.

Couldn't ask for more, clean, quiet, up to date, helpful staff, nice location, 10% discount at the Texas Road House too!

A Pleasant Surprise
Room and entire motel were amazingly clean. Everything was brand new. Room was a little small compared to other motels, but my single room was just the right size for one person. Motel personnel were very courteous and helpful. Helped me to obtain my boarding pass from the Iternet. Breakfast was provided, but the jusic and coffee were a little weak. Overall, had a very pleasant stay and would happily return again.

"Does the job"
The hotel was clean and efficient with friendly staff. The walls were kind of thin and the room lighting was either very bright or quite dim but it was fine and much cheaper than staying closer to Notre Dame. Good free breakfast.
