Econo Lodge Fort Wayne

This hotel in Fort Wayne (IN) was overall a good value. The room was clean and well-equiped, although the bed wasn't super comfortable. The TV image quality could be improved too. A little noisy when we got there in the afternoon, but very quiet at night. The breakfast was satisfying.

Their were room changes made after our arrival, because of wrong information on site when ordering. dispite the smaller room, It was queit and clean, even though the furnature needs to be updated. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, especially if you like biscuits and gravy. Their were other choices too. We enjoyed the use of the pool, hot tub, and weight room. Very convient to have a laundry service inside the Inn that all guest could access.

Hotel was clean but very rundown and shabby, my rooms furniture was beat up and 20 years out of style. The couch was filthy and stained and every room had ceiling stains and the wallpaper was coming apart at all of the seams.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. It has a lot of great amenities, including the breakfast. And you cannot beat the price.

Business trip w/ wife. Clean, , friendly and amenities to make more comfortable. Friendly staff w/ free internet and fax service for business. Bed a little hard but typical for hotel.

I stayed here just for a little break from home. I've also stayed multiple times when the weather is bad, and this is closer to work than my normal 40 minute drive. The place is always clean and plenty of room in the lobby or breakfast area if you don't want to stay in your room. The rooms are spacious also. Restaurants are nearby and so is the coliseum, where many activities take place.

Don't let the outside fool you! We pulled in and I thought it looked rather iffy, but we walked in the front lobby and it was beautiful. The lobby smelled good and the bathrooms just inside smelled freshly cleaned. The front desk was fairly busy but they got us checked right in and on our way. Everything about the room was very clean. My kids LOVED swimming in the pool. Water in the pool was actually warm adn the hot tub was HOT. We met some family from MI and didn't have any plans except to go to the Botanical Conservatory. We were only 4 miles from downtown and it was easy to get to. We were very close to LOTS of shopping and LOTS of places to choose from for eating. The hotel breakfast was delicious and hot. When you opened the door to the hallway, it smelled up the entire hotel. We liked that it was served until 10:15 on the weekends so we didn't have to get up early and rush downstairs. For the price, I would definitely stay there again.

We were here seeking the Glory of God at a local Coffee and Tea house at a New Ecstatic Conference. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and it's times very reasonable accessibility from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. We did want to enjoy the pool, but it was temporarily closed the only time we could enjoy it.(not a big deal, it seemed clean and well managed and open the rest of the time we were there) We loved the staff!!! Very friendly and the room was clean... I praise you for the mini refrigerator... that was a blessing, I did not expect. I wish more hotels offered that. However, I was very pleased and for the price and location of the Hotel it was perfect. I would stay at this Hotel again...when I travel into town which might be frequent.

Six of us shopped all day and had a very relaxing night at hotel. Hot tub and pool were awesome, rooms clean and spacious, the morning breakfast was hot and delicious.

Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a very nice hotel. When we pulled up to the hotel we thought we had made a mistake booking here. The outside had chipped paint and there were NO cars in the parking lot. When we entered we saw a large, well furnished entry. Check-in was OK. We had made a request at the time we made reservations for an early check-in, which was not honored. When we're allowed into the room, at 3pm, we were very happy with the room. It was large, with a separate vanity and dressing area. There was a sectional couch, desk, King-size bed, coffee table,armoir with TV, and dresser with plenty of floor space. There was a very nice in-door pool and exercise room. There was a breakfast nook where they served a complimentary brkfst.
