Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown

Updated top to bottom and clean, great staff and breakfast. The only negative I had was paying for parking thought it was pricey per day, however it was secure parking!

The hotel is like new with very nice room layouts. We enjoyed the sky walk and sports bar next door.

Staff was really great, from giving me the option to self park to letting me leave my car an extra 12 hours at no cost, to being very friendly and helpful in general. The only weird thing was that both the elevator and my room had a whiff of what smelled like body odor that hit you when you walked in and then gradually you got used to it. (and it wasn't me, I swear!) It may have just been my room. Otherwise, an excellent stay and if others haven't noticed the stink, then I'm guessing it was a one time oddity.

Stayed here for a convention and was very satisfied. The hotel is attached to the JW Marriott complex which is attached to the Indiana Convention Center via skywalks. Spacious room and convienient underground parking.

We wanted to get a hotel room in downtown Indy because we were attending a Colts/Packer game and also wanted to see the Motorcycles on Meridian show after the game. This hotel was perfect for our weekend. Overall a great experience.

The King mini-suite was great! Loved having a small sofa to lounge on instead of our bed! Only complaints - no bathtub & no breakfast, but we would return! - An easy walk to anything 'downtown;' staff offered to make any reservations we desired. Security was good; you have to use your room key to use the elevator... Forgot a toothbrush and one was 'at the door' within minutes, with toothpaste. Interior hotel staff were excellent; apparently we did not appear to be the 'valet' type of consumer... Although, at the downtown Marriott, we were well taken care of - even though we went to the 'wrong' Marriott at first; staff looked up our reservation and gave us directions to the Courtyard, as did the valet service, who had my door opened as soon as the vehicle was stopped. :)

first time attending football game @ Lucas Oil Stadium, within walking distance to everything. Associates at the hotel were very helpful with directions, rooms were great and the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to families...great idea to have TGIF right next door

We went to Indianapolis for a weekend getaway and it was a great trip. We were within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, recreation, museums, the zoo, etc. The hotel was in a perfect location - not right downtown but close enough to walk.

Room keys would not work on parking garage gate, but received quick assistance from staff and received apologies from desk clerk and a free breakfast coupon for our inconvenience.

Drove in circles in the parking garage for thirty minutes and never found a place to park, had to drive offsite down the street to park in a public pay lot. Once we finally got to the lobby to check in we waited in line for at least thirty more minutes! Check out was just as bad! Staff was friendly but very slow. Rooms were very nice and clean. Feel that for the price we paid for the room we should have had access to the connected parking garage. We could have used the valet parking but the line was clear around the block and would have put us probably an hour late for our reservation at a local establishment. Glad we didn't once we saw the OPEN valet key box containing everyones keys laying on the floor in the entrance (not an attendant in site). Feel like they needed a little more time in training before they opened their doors! Give it a year and MIGHT try again.
