Embassy Suites Indianapolis - Downtown

The only negative on this hotel is that they charge for wifi and local calls. It's 2012 and hotels that still charge for local calls is absurd to me. Breakfast was great and the room comfort was really good. Due to downtown location and the $20/night parking I had to drop the location by one star.

I stayed at this hotel and found it very old and in need of extensive renovation. The escalator did not work during my stay. Signs were not posted to give directions to other elevators in the area. The first room we checked into had tears and stains on the carpet, a table nicked and warped, old furniture with torn cushions, and water in the kitchen area that came out cloudy. We were moved to another room that was a little better, but the carpeting still had a large tear and couches very worn. The shower door would not stay closed. The employees were very gracious but struggled to handle issues that were out of their control. A large church convention was in town and the kids were screaming in the halls of the hotel until 1 a.m. The heat/air conditioning system allowed only six months of air conditioning and six months of heat, so rooms were very warm and the only option was to open the window a crack. Needless to say, the engineering is faulty. The elevators worked but were very slow. The location of the hotel is great as there is access to Circle Center Mall, restaurants and other attractions. Very little money is spent in maintenance here although they say it has been renovated. But until they fix these basic functional problems, I will not be back. It is not up to the standards of any Embassy Suites or most other hotels.

Location,food, and happy hour was the best! Just wish the room wasn't so warm. It's become a tradition for our family to stay here during Christmas Break! Very much worth the money!!

Embassy is a great place for us to stay we love the managers reception with a few snacks and the breakfast. This is truly a wonderful value. the rooms have always been clean. We have been staying at embassy for the last 18 years from getting away with the kids for the weekend or mom and dad getting away from the kids for a romantic getaway. We have tried all other downtown hotels and for the value Embassy cannot be beat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Although it wasnt that easy getting to the hotel, the stay was very pleasant. We didnt know that there was free drinks and snacks from 5:30 to 8. That was really nice including the complimentary breakfast we got in the morning. It was really decked out. I truly feel like it was worth the money with all that you get including the room. Also, really close to restaurants and shops downtown for walking without having to drive. Would do it again in a heartbeat!!

So easy to shop and enjoy the city...plus the Embassy is connected to the mall. Men enjoy the rooms while ladies shop etc. but, join us for lunch. Great time to catch up with our friends.

the room was a spacious suite all the emenities, didn't have a problem except for the big stain on the floor and the 2 more stains on the couch really lower this $100+ room to no better than the $36 room at motel 6. which I will perfer. at least at a motel 6 you can look out a window and see the world not the unwashed yellowish brick building and vent work next door.

We strictly went for a convention and unfortunately had no time for any sightseeing at all. We were so pleased with our stay in Indianapolis. The Embassy Suites was totally wonderful!! It is convenient to the beautiful new convention center and you are even able to get there and never go outside if the weather is bad....amazing skybridges connect everything. The hotel was immaculate, the staff super friendly, good food....the list could go on and on. This was one of the best hotel experiences we have had!

I had a business meeting in Indy and decided to take my family along with me. The meeting was only a few hours, so I was able to spend a lot of time with my family at the hotel. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was awesome! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Arrived in time for the manager's special, then went shopping at Circle Center (which is attached to the hotel) before eating at P.F. Chang's. The room was great and spacious. We loved the really comfy bed too! Our expectations were met & we enjoyed our little getaway.
