Unhappy in IN
the bad and the good
No shampoo shower gel was the only thing furnished. No freezer in fridge ( had ice pack for meds on the road) breakfast was marginal (cheap ). There were no luggage racks or benches on which to but our luggage, when questioned they told us to put it on the floor. The problem with that nasty idea is that there was no floor space for the luggage, The room was VERY small. The closed door would not close when you put clothes with regular hanger in the closet (it was too shallow). To their credit they upgraded us to a larger room with floor space for our luggage. The closet was the same. Had we not bee tied to the [...]reservation and the no refund policy we would have left. We will never use the hotel again or [...].

Good value
Good clean room and bed. I visited Lafayette to stay near a sick family member. The hotel is easy to access from I-65 and from SR-26, and the staff accommodated some specific changes that helped me with my family. I will stay at LaQuinta when I visit Lafayette with my children.

Probably the best deal I have had in Lafayette. Clean, well-kept room. Despite low temperatures outside, room stayed comfortable. Internet access worked well. Reasonable continental breakfast and exercise room.

The Brady Bunch
Unbeatable location for the price
We were only at the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast, but it was still really good!!! I couldn't believe the low cost for 2 nights with two rooms!!

Short drive from hotel
We were going to Indiana Beach, and we only had to drive maybe 30 minutes to get there. Where as if you stayed right by Indiana beach, you paid a lot more, especially with a large family like ours!

Great deal for the price
My brother and I stayed at the Baymont Inn while home for the holiday. While there, my daughter came to stay with me and forgot some necessities...the staff was happy to provide the items she forgot to bring. We had a great trip and it is always a relief to not worry about the hotel arrangements once they have been booked. I know we can always count on Baymont Inn when we travel home for family functions.

Convenient enough, very basic & ordinary
We needed a hotel for a Purdue football game. This was available, and the location was convenient enough as it was on the main strip in Lafayette, In. with other hotels and numerous restaurant chains. The price was very high for the accommodations, but that is probably par for the course on a Football weekend in a Big Ten city. The hotel was very ordinary with very small rooms. Housekeeping was acceptable. It was a warm place to sleep, and spend the night, and little more, for the price.
