Stayed here while in town to see some baseball games. Decent enough hotel, overrun by wedding guests over the weekend. Good location for the College Football Hall of Fame and any other downtown attractions.

It was close to our daughter college and it was a great value. The room was beautiful. The breakfast bar was plentiful and tasty. It was a fine hotel. The room was spacious and it was nice because we had a small child with us. The beds were great. The staff was nice and friendly . I would definitely stay there on my next visit to the area.

I make an annual trip to Notre Dame and have stayed in several different hotels in the area. . This Hotel is in a good location and you can take a long walk to campus. The room was very clean. Nice indoor pool. Breakfast was good. I would definitely return

Great Room, Poor Service

Room was great but when we got there our room didn't lock, we just pushed the door open. So instead of getting us another room, she called maintenance and we had to wait an hour for him to come fix it. Then I had asked for some feather pillows and they had none. I had asked for late check out and all she could give me was an hour later, considering we had somewhere to be at 4:30pm and check out is 11 am.

The hotel was nice and tidy. The staff was very frindly and it was nice and quiet. My only two complaints are that the pool was really cloudy and very cold (supposed to be heated) and the eggs for breakfast were very runny. The whirlpool was nice and worked well.

Hotel was quite and the bed was comfy. Had a refrig, microwave and a nice to counter space to work on. Breakfast voucher was given at check in. Was a nice surprise...breakfast was scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, gravy and bisquets, cereal...it was good.
Wanted to go sit in the hot tub but it was only a 2 person and it had 2 people in it so I missed out.

Talk about hassle free. Showed up, was checked in as soon as possible (came early), attended for a wedding, amazing food, complimentary breakfast. Honestly, it was all I could ask for. Free parking which I love. Right off the highway, and right across the street from Notre Dame. Smooth.

The 1st room I was shown at the Econolodge had a broken grate over the air conditioner and when I flushed the toilet it would not fill up with water. I complained. Room two had the same air conditioner problem. I cancelled the reservation and found a different hotel. To their credit, they didn't argue with me.

This place was nice but my room did not have an ironing board, the bathroom did not lock, and the heater didn't work properly. The staff was very nice and willing to make my stay comfortable. A good place to stay.

This hotel was a good deal for the special price which was part of a air-hotel-car deal. Situated at the heart of downtown South Bend, the Ramada Plaza is surrounded by a number of good restaurants and coffee houses, the Century Center convention area, South Bend Museum of Art, and for the football fans, the College Football Hall of Fame - all within short walking distance! The only problem with the building itself is that it must have been a former Holiday Inn and the signs are still on the outside of the building. This made it a little difficult to find by sight while driving. However, it is not difficult to find. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with all enquiries. The room, though average in presentation and extra amenities, was clean and the bed, comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a deal in an ideal spot in South Bend.

Indianas only Diamond Collection and Select Registry Inn. This lovely Victorian 25 room mansion was built for entertaining. The lower level contains a dining room with original Waterford crystal sconces and a butlers pantry with complimentary refreshments. Also available is a large and cozy library with one of seven fireplaces, and a baby grand piano. Guests may choose from one of eight beautifully decorated guest rooms, some with fireplaces, private balcony, claw foot tubs, marble sinks or Jacuzzi. Lovely landscaped one acre estate with lawn swings, gardens, gazebo and fountains. The Bavarian style Carriage House is an archetectural gem, totally unique to the area and has been newly renovated into a two bedroom, two bath suite. We have gift certificates available in any amount, or for one of our packages. The hotel was clean and modern. Rooms were roomy and clean as were the bathrooms and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Wireless worked great. Price was very reasonable especially for the room quality. Pet fee was reasonable for two pets. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is well run, comfortable rooms, and clean. Off season rates are affordable. Breakfast was nicely served and the staff was helpful, cheerful and friendly. The accomodation was spacious. The decor is possibly starting to fade, and the bathroom tile is starting to loosen in a spot or two, but none of this affects the comfort and function of the room; and I am not buying it, I am just renting it for two nights! I would return.

The bed weren't that comfortable and woke several times during the night with back pain. The continential breakfast was nice. It was off the main road so it was very quiet to sleep. Staff was nice.

We had a nice time in South Bend even though the Boilers lost. The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful in giving us directions to the stadium and local businesses. We were able to check in early and had a very clean room.

Perfect Hotel when Visiting NotreDame

Perfect Hotel as it is very close only 10 min. to ND. I chose this hotel, due to fact they are only 1/2 mile from SB airport. The free shuttle was great. We requested to be dropped off at 5:30AM and they did. They waited for us at the Airport even it was 10min pass 10 PM when we arrived.
The room size was very big. Comfortable beds, clean room & bathroom. Wi-fi was the best. At check-in we were told not to miss the new Hot B'fast. Yes, it was really good. Saved us (a family of 4) atleast $45 during our 2 day stay. They arranged a Shuttle bus service to the ND on the gameday. Saved us from parking fee. Plenty of choices to eat nearby walking distance. We would definately stay here again.

Perhaps a sign of the economy but across the board service, cleanliness and amenities were substandard. I have stayed here before and found it to be a good value with clean rooms and nice amenities. This trip the hot tub didn't work; there was trash on the floor in the room and they no longer had a decent breakfast.

They did not have any internet connection. The desk attendant told me they are under no owners and the new owners did not have any light bulbs! I got my room switched because there were no light bulbs in my original room. However, it was clean and the staff was friendly. Walking distance to the airport

Ok nothing to get excited for

I have stayed in extended stays before but this was the absolute bare minimum. I had to request all extras.The room was never cleaned which isn't that big of a deal. However we were never offered fresh towels and even had to request toilet paper.
The room smelled so bad that we had to leave the windows open & I sprayed a bunch of my bodyspray to help cover the smell.
The bed was very uncomfortable probably because their isn't a box spring instead it is on a piece of wood on top of the bed frame.
The staff was very friendly & helpful.

This was the perfect hotel to be able to stay in. We only stayed 2 nights but if we had been in the area longer, this would have been the place. It is extremely clean, great staff, and a central location. Thank you!
