Good price at the last minute. Nice LCD TV in the room and attractive exterior (Motel 6 down the road looked scary!). The continental breakfast didn't appeal. The heat took ages to kick in. Very capable, courteous and service-oriented overnight desk staff.

Good value for the price
My 2 year old daughter and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin and stayed night at this hotel to break up the trip. We were only looking for a place to sleep for one night so this hotel was perfect. It was not far off a route 80/90 exit (which I appreciated because I didn't want to get lost trying to find the hotel or finding my way back to the route the next day) and the room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but had some mildew which made me uncomfortable with giving my daughter a bath so I just gave her a shower. The staff were very friendly and there were tons of places to eat within walking distance. Would stay here again on my return trip home.

excelent place to stay!!
We were very pleased with our stay, everything was great and to our satisfaction, we enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra day. The only thing that would have made our stay a little better would have been a full breakfast instead of a continual. If and when we come to South Bend, Ind. again we will check into this motel again. It is center located to all the places we needed to go.
