Nice Hotel
We arrived at the Pear Tree Inn and were very pleased with the room and the staff. Went to a Chiefs game and the location was great. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay there again.

After reading other reviews I was expecting a very out dated room. When we got there I was very happy. If you concider all of the over spending that new hotels do these days, and the pampered spoiled ways of people, I guess I could see why some people say it is out-dated. The room was clean, it was quiet, I enjoyed the location, and there was plenty to choose from in the breakfast. For the price of the room, I felt there was no room for complaints!

Pleasantly Surprised
We were pleasantly surprised, considering we didn’t know what to expect considering the rate we got on the room. Only stayed one night, didn’t spend a whole lot of time at the hotel, and didn’t eat their breakfast, so can’t comment on that, the happy hour reception, pool, or any of the other amenities. We were however, very satisfied with our room. Was a nice sized room, clean (including the carpet), and bed was very comfortable. The personnel at the front desk were very pleasant, and helpful, especially considering we were asking to check in quite early. When leaving in the morning, we did notice the carpet on the outside wall was wet, I think from the air conditioner. It wasn’t that way when we checked in, or when we got back to our room the night before, and when I notified the front desk, the lady truely seemed thankful for me pointing it out, and said they would have it checked, and taken care of. Have stayed in a lot of hotels, from dumps to luxury resorts, and I would say The Pear Tree is one of the better values, especially if you are primarily just looking for a nice room, with an accommodating staff. Will stay there again.

Nice hotel overall.
Hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Only thing was that the fitness center didnt have any weight machines as it only had treadmills. Still a nice place to stay for the value.
