Howard Johnson Express Inn - Wichita

Good proximity to airport. Room was very clean. A.C. unit worked well. Staff was friendly. Cab was on time to get to airport.

This room was fine for a place to stay while making a long drive, but was not the best choice of a place for my 21 anniversary. Lots of kids and families and basic breakfast. Close to a places to shop, eat, and hang out. The bed was good and the room was clean, but it is nothing fancy.

The motel was nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The one thing that I was unhappy about was the WIFI, I had to go to the lobby to use my computer the WIFI signal in my room was very poor to the point that there was no internet. If they are going to use WIFI to sell there rooms then they need to get it fixed.

Good visit, have stayed here before, but front desk guy is very creepy. All other guests I spoke with said the same thing. Still, he is polite enough. Breakfast is the pits. Pre-packaged honey buns, muffins, and cereal for breakfast. Oh yeah, pop-tarts too. Bad breakfast.

This hotel is okay but I would not recommend it for solo female travelers. The outside doors were not room key coded so anyone could get onto the hotel premises from any of the doors. The sheets made my skin itch and the extra pillows had hair and makeup on them. The mini refrigerator barely kept items above room temperature. There were blown lights and rust stains over many items (e.g. bathroom tub, on towels, etc). The hotel is very old. It does not have an elevator and it has a strong mildew smell throughout. However, it is conveniently located near major highways and some shopping locations (e.g. Wal-Mart, Office Depot). If you are looking for a semi-safe place to sleep for the night then book it.

they extended the hours of breakfast for us after we woke up late. also had speedy wifi

This hotel met my needs. Traveling during the holidays and needed a place to stop for the night. Nothing fancy and allowed pets.

stay was ok, staff adressed my prob. phone ,and smoke detector at once. the tv didint have sound on some channels, and tolet flushed every hour or so. i didnt say anything to staff about these two problems dont know why.

They seemed to cut a lot of corners at this motel. Wimpy towels, poor lighting, poor pillows. But was most upset when we came in and heard the toilet running constantly we immediately informed the desk but they never did fix it despite reminding them numerous times during our 3-day stay.

The staff was great, the room was clean, & it was pretty quiet during the night. My 2 complaints would be that the beds are extremely hard, felt like we were sleeping on a concrete slab covered with a sheet! Also, the access to the hotel is terrible, if you come in from the east, you have to go down a dirt road to get to the hotel from the back side.
