"Very nice family hotel"
This very clean, family hotel was in a great location for a quick getaway weekend with our kids. We went to Mammouth Cave for a cave tour and hiking, came back to Bowling Green for dinner, movie, and shopping at the very nice Greenwood Mall (just down the road).

Mammouth Cave is approximately 30 minutes north of Bowling Green. It was nice to be close to the caves, but also close to the great shopping and dining in Bowling Green.

I would stay again!
We stayed overnight on our way back from FL to break up our trip. We wanted a place with a pool and this fit the bill. The room was nice, comfy beds. There was a huge cob web in the corner, but other than that the room was clean. The pool was small, but it was good for splashing around in. Nice hot tub. They had DVD's available at the front desk that were complimentary which was a nice touch if we would have been there longer. They also had a nice "pantry" with items for purchase ranging from drinks to dinner options. All and all I would definetly stay here again!

There are a ton of restaurants all within a mile of the hotel. You could probably walk to them, however it is fairly busy and I wouldn't recommend it. Lots to choose from!

Very Nice Stay
Hard to pick a best...we were met by friendly and helpful staff, stayed in a VERY well appointed room, enjoyed the indoor pool and checked out without incident. I would say the most surprising thing was the well stocked "Canteen" store inside the hotel had grocery store prices instead of the triple priced stuff normally available in hotels.

A Sweet Suite!
We found the staff helpful, friendly and accomodating. The facility was extremely clean and well kept. The suite had everything you could possibly need, and if you forgot anything the handy little hotel store probably had it...and available 24 hours.

Pleasantly Surprised with Awesome Stay
My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant experience with our stay for the first time in a Candlewood suite in BowlingGreen, KY. The staff was very helpful and pleasant during our weekend stay. The location was perfect for entertainment for all ages from shopping to outdoor adventures. The room turned out to be exactly what it was in the pictures; clean, roomy and homey. All appliances were given for any cooking needs during the stay minus an oven (no complaints) including a stove, all silverware, garbage disposal in sink and a dishwasher. The walls were a refreshing beige instead of your normal white, a flat screen TV and everything seemed brand new. the Pool area, workout room, office area and lobby were immaculate. Throughout all the years i have visited hotels, this one truly made home feel obsolete.

Great Family Getaway

Clean and Comfortable
The Candlewood Suites Hotel room was very comfortable and made for a relaxing overnight stay. We loved that the bedroom had it's own door separate from the living room and kitchen area. We also took advantage of the in hotel movies at the desk. The room was spotless and very tastefully decorated. We would definately stay again if in Bowling Green, KY.
