Microtel Inn Bowling Green

We booked this hotel as an inexpensive way to join a friend during his graduation weekend. While it was not anything special, the room was clean and suited us just fine. The man at the front counter was perfect when we arrived and helped us plan what free time we had. Only complaint- I expected shampoo in the shower and, when it wasn't there, had to wash my hair with soap :( Then, when we needed a few extra towels, they said "they didn't have any clean ones." Nothing to ruin the experience, but definitely a "cheap-er" hotel.

Front desk was friendly and efficient. Continental breakfast was limited to muffins and cereal but fine for an overnighter. Right next to waffle house and cracker barrell. This was a great value. Hotel was accommodating when I needed to move my non-refundable reservation to one week sooner.

Room was clean, small but comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was great. Overall, very pleased and the price was great. Location was fantastic.

Each year when I go to Kentucky for a family reunion I stay at Microtel. I have always found it to be clean and the staff (especially the room service) is great! I would like to see hot foods available for the breakfast. Lord willing I'll see you all again next year!

For the money the room was ok, probably priced right at your discount rate. Very poor ammenities, didn't include the usual motel/hotel stuff and the advertised breakfast was so, so. . But, I did appreciate the low price, clean room and excellent staff.

I booked this hotel due to the ratings on it. I will never do this again. The average ratings was 3.7 out 5..........How they got this I don't know. The room was extremly small, the carpet was nasty,there was an aweful smell in the hallway. We booked two nights which was non refundable and we only stayed one night! The staff was nice but just from the looks of the hotel when you walk in we did not even eat the breakfast that was provided the next morning. I advise you to spend a little extra money and get something worth staying in. I will never stay in another Microtel again!!!!

We were very surprised and pleased with the Microtel! The room was very nice, staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location and great low price! Very nice!

This was a great overnight stay. They were in the the middle of renovation, but it wasn't messy or in the way. The rooms were very clean and neat! We were very pleased.
