a good one night stay
My friends and I stayed for one night during the Kentucky Derby weekend. The distance from Louisville was longer than expected (about 45 min to an hour from downtown), but it was nice that it was right off of the highway. The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The continental breakfast wasn't very tasty, but it did enough for a quick meal. We were satisfied with the overall experience.

Traveling Sister-in-law
Quick trip to Elizabethtown
The staff was friendly and the hotel was close enough to Fort Knox that it was a good fit for us. The room could have been a bit cleaner (there was an old piece of popcorn on the floor and hair in the bathtub), but the lobby and dining area were very clean. It was a big enough room for 2 teenagers and 2 adults, so that was nice. I would stay there again for the price I paid. Also, it's so close to the highway as well as places to eat that it was very convenient.

Do NOT Book With This HOTEL!!!!
I booked a room with this hotel through [...]for the Kentucky Derby weekend. I had to cancel my reservation (which admittedly I didn't realize was non-refundable) and I was charged for the entire stay. The owner and the manager of the hotel will not refund my money - eventhough they are fully booked for this weekend. So, they are getting paid twice for the room. They blame Orbtiz and Wyndam Hotels. [...]would process the refund and another Wyndam Hotel (Super 8) processed a refund for a differnt no-refund room reservation.

It was fine, they served a free continental breakfast, and they had a nice warm indoor pool, but there was NO JACUZZI =( The room was spacious, we had 1 King + a couch + mini fridge, microwave, but not nearly enough plugs to charge our electronics! I had to unplug all the lamps to charge my cell, laptop, ect. Also, there was no DVD player nor a way to order movies, which sucked. Overall, agh, okay.

Right across from Texas Outlaw, great restaurant. Same Pkg lit as Texas Roadhouse, always jam packed. Walking distance to Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, and White Castle.

Great location and accomodations !
We only spent one nite passing thru to home, but the hotel was very clean and neat, staff was wonderful! I left my purse at breakfast and they took care of it for me. Room was clean, really liked the microwave and refrig in the room. Great room for the price. Would definately consider Baymont Inn & Suites again!

Fantastic family gtaway
I cannot think of a single thing that would have improved our stay. I would rate this motel as a 10 across the board. Room was clean and smartly appointed. I have stayed at 4 star hotels that weren't as nice. The amenities of coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, ironing baord and iron in the room are luxuries rarely found in such moderately priced motels. Service was outstanding. Big kudos to Ann who checked us in. Sh's a keeper! Breakfast was outstanding as well.
