Pit Stop
This is an ok place to stay if your just blowing through but, wouldn't want to hang around long. The front of the facility appears to be new however, it appears as if it was added onto an existing older motel which we were placed in. It was a typical...buy and old run down motel, slap some paint, wallpaper, new carpet, etc. down and call it a Holiday Inn Express or whatever. The hallways were hot as the AC units in the rooms were in the ceilings of the foyer and did not exhaust or obtain makeup air from the exterior. The AC unit was also very loud and did not work very well at all. Had to keep the thermostat set of 63 just to keep it cooled down. Not bad but, not worth the money!!

Great Location, great room !
Very nice hotel, Newly remodeled, very clean room. lots of restraunts within walking distance. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.good hot breakfast in the morning , great deal for the money ! would definately stay there again !

Keep in mind, this is a " pet friendly " hotel. I asked at the desk not to be in a room near someone that had a dog and they accomadated us.

clean, quiet and convenient
Very clean, great complimentary breakfast w. lots of choices for even picky eaters. For people that are attending graduations at Ft. Knox it is within the allowable area to travel on family day.

The mall is only a short distance away; and their are adjacent stores that make up for a slightly outdated mall.

Weekend visit
The first night we stayed across the street at the comfort suites, and that hotel was beautiful. Then going here it wasn't fair to compare. I liked that this hotel allowed pets and thats the best I can say for it. The room was okay, but the rug was discolored most likely from previous pet stays. The pool was small and always crowded. It was an average hotel. For the price I wouldn't go back unless I was traveling with my dog. If you've got a pet it's pretty good, but if not stay across the street at the comfort suites. It was about the same price and twice as nice, but they don't take pets. It's close to fast food and gas, shopping was about a ten minute drive. My four year old son was excited about the pool but only got to swim in it once because it was always crowded. The breakfast was cereal, juice, fruit, and coffee. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting.
