Outlets would not hold a plug and had to get adapter for it to work. The toilet was sitting way too low and at night I started seeing bugs which I will say were water bugs cause I don't want to go there. The curtains were torn and when I called the front desk they didn't know anything about anything and would not allow me to change rooms. It was cheaper than other places but paying a little more for a better space, especially with a one year old, is worth it.

If you want a hotel that is a good price and is in a good location this is the hotel for you. The hotel room was clean and the beds comfortable. The walls were thin but the sound of the AC/heat covered most of the outside sounds.
If you are choosing this place because it is an extended stay then you should stay someplace else. The only difference between this room and a normal hotel room about the same price was that it had a full refrigerator as oppose to a half refrigerator. There were cupboards but nothing in them and no place but the bathroom sink to wash anything (no dish soap provided). The cupboards and counter space took up the spot where the suitcase usually would go (they did have drawers to place your clothes in if you wanted to). I ended putting my suitcase on the other bed since I didn't want to unpack and repack it. I think that calling this place "Extended Stay" is a very big stretch.

This was a classic style hotel, very cute and the beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was a random wet area of the carpet near the desk, but it didn't affect our stay.

Convenient, but needs some TLC.

This is the second consecutive year staying at this location for an annual alumni-related event hosted by one of the local universities. Good value for the location...much less expensive than the more upscale accommodations next door. However, I encountered/noticed some minor 'issues' this year. The double room I booked only had one set of bath towels, and no bath mat. The customary hook on the back of the bathroom door was missing, but one could see where it used to be (painted over holes in the door). The television was nice, but I couldn’t find a card in the room with the channel listings. The alarm clock/radio appeared worn out and needed cleaning. I had difficulty figuring out how to set the alarm and ended up requesting a wakeup call from the front desk to ensure I awoke at the desired time.
The bedspreads/covers were missing from both beds, and there were no blankets available. I checked in a little early, and wonder if the housekeepers didn’t have sufficient time to complete their work. (If that’s the case, I shouldn’t have been checked into that room.) There was a lingering unpleasant odor in the elevator…every time I used it. The complimentary breakfast offerings consisted of nothing extraordinary…dry cereal, packets of microwavable oatmeal, bagels, English muffins (butter and cream cheese for toppings), tea/coffee, juice, milk.
Although I didn't use them, there are a variety of eating establishments and a well known coffee house nearby, within walking distance.
The location was so convenient, but I might inquire about improvements before returning again. It’s obvious this location could use some attention to detail.

We were in town for college basketball. The hotel was convenient in terms of location. Good sized room. The breakfast provided at the hotel was great. The bed was terribly uncomfortable though, and wireless connection was weak.

The hotel was nice and the staff is very friendly. Buffet in the morning is above average. Only negative (for me), I would like to have had the TV have options to order movies or play games. They could have made more money off of me :). But, it wouldn't keep me from staying there again.

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. It's easy to access off I75 and within a few miles of restaurants and shopping. The room was clean, nicely decorated and there were no strange odors anywhere in the hotel. The roomdarkening curtains were great. The desk staff was helpful and gave us a late checkout when we asked. Our only regrets were that we didn't get to check out the pool, and that we had to leave. We will be back.

Short stay, but a good one

Unfortunately, I had missed my connecting flight and arrived at midnight on my check in day, and was back on the road again at 6am the following morning, so I didn't get to check out the rest of the hotel too much. However, the staff was welcoming and made check in and out a breeze, and the bed was so comfortable, it was the perfect thing to take away the stress of the trip!

We were at this particular hotel for a concert. The staff was friendly and the.room was very clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint is the sleep number bed. No matter what the number was set on it felt too firm and it felt like you were sleeping on a mechanical bed. Other than that it was a great stay.

We were in town for a UK basketball game and didnt want to fight to find a place to park so we booked a room at the Hilton Downtown. By far, this was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. The room was clean, bug free and the location very convenient to Rupp Arena. The ONLY issue we had was thst no one explained the parking situation ~ we left to get something to eat and we were charged $12 for our parking even though we were hotel guests. No one bothered to explain that there was a hang tag we were supposed to get since we were hotel guests. Now that we know that, we'll certainly do things a little differently. We would certainly stay at the Hilton Downtown again, though. Staff was friendly and the hotel was lovely.

At first checkin, the ceiling fell out of the bathroom in the first room because of so much rain. We were moved to a second room, which the electrical outlet was very unsafe (not very secure). The beds were wonderful, though. One thing I thought was weird was the window opened up fully to the outside. I would only stay again because they have the "make your own waffle" area at the continental breakfast - yummy!

Overall the experience was very enjoyable and while I did not partake in the pool/fitness center, all the extra amenities within the hotel were kept up extremely well. Their extra cookie/apple served at 7pm was always something to look forward to. The one complaint I had was that cell service was pretty terrible within the hotel and in the rooms.

I was there on business. I also attended a seminar at the hotel. Other than the water smelling bad and tasting bad, My experience was fine. The restaurants around the area were excellent! They were convenient to get to and easy to find! The outside of the Hotel needs to have some upgrading as you can see several wood pieces that are falling off and in need of repair. I am an Electrical Inspector and I was there with several more for this seminar and we saw several things that would not meet the National Electrical Code! I see this in a lot of Hotel and Motels across the country. Overall I enjoyed myself at your complex.

The rooms are to small if you are taking your family. The one thing that I did not like about the hotel is when I asked for a roll-way-bed I was told there would be a fee of 10 dollars.

Location was close to both Kentucky Horse Park and Keeneland Track - location, location, location. The room was lovely and comfortable. The drawback was the hotel restaurant. The food was astonishingly expensive for very poor quality food. Stay here and eat elsewhere

This hotel was not anything special. The room was clean and the front desk and staff were nice. The interior seemed dated and their were parts that were beat up and not in the best of shape. The back elevator by entrance 5 would not let me out at one point. It closed the door and would not move or reopen the door, it finally moved after waiting about 10 minutes. Wish breakfast was added into the room instead of paying separate and going to a restraunt.

We were moving across country and stayed at this hotel as a midway point. The room had a kitchen including a dish washer, dishes, full size refrigerator, etc. Also, we received a complimentary breakfast and dinner the night we stayed. Great variety and high quality! The hotel is in a shopping district, too. It was great!
