Clarion Hotel Lexington

The restarant had great food and the people were friendly. Had room servive and they did not pick the tray with old food up for the three days we were there.

The room wasn't clean when we checked in. We went into the room and the garbage hadn't been taken out from the previous tenant and the tub wasn't clean. Also, the front desk person didn't give us the breakfast vouchers when we checked in so we didn't get the breakfast that we paid for with the room. However, the manager apologized for it when we checked out and put in our profile to give us two extra vouchers the next time we checked in.

everything was nice except room had a musty smell

Took teenagers to a concert and then went to horse races. The rooms for this hotel was not worth the price you pay. The staff at front desk was overworked, not overly friendly. The hotel was LOUD all night long. There was a wedding at the hotel and the persons were very loud, seems that their rooms should have been the ones closer to the reception hall and the persons who were not attending could have been moved to the rooms away from the wedding.

I was there on business. I also attended a seminar at the hotel. Other than the water smelling bad and tasting bad, My experience was fine. The restaurants around the area were excellent! They were convenient to get to and easy to find! The outside of the Hotel needs to have some upgrading as you can see several wood pieces that are falling off and in need of repair. I am an Electrical Inspector and I was there with several more for this seminar and we saw several things that would not meet the National Electrical Code! I see this in a lot of Hotel and Motels across the country. Overall I enjoyed myself at your complex.

The rooms are to small if you are taking your family. The one thing that I did not like about the hotel is when I asked for a roll-way-bed I was told there would be a fee of 10 dollars.

I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel insofar as customer service and friendliness. The entrance and foyer are truly grand/elegant. The room and accomodations were clean and very comfortable but could use some updating. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent and provided wonderful, friendly service.

I FLEW FROM SEATTLE TO KENTUCKY FOR A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING WHICH WAS AT 2:00PM I GOT TO KY AT 9:45 AND TO THE HOTEL AT 11:00. I WENT IN THE HOTEL TO CHECK IN, BUT THE LADY AT THE RECEPTIONS ASKED ME TO COME BACK AT 4:00 BECAUSE THAT WAS THE CHECK IN TIME, AND THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I WANTED TO HAVE SOME REST BEFORE MY 2 PM MEETING. I END UP GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET READY. MY MEETING END UP AT 8:30PM, SO I WENT BACK TO HOLIDAY INN HOTEL TO TRY TO CHECK IN AGAIN. I HAD TO WAIT A HALF AN HOUR FOR THEM TO FIND ME A ROOM. THE ONLY ROOM THE COULD GET ME WAS A SMOKING ROOM. IT WAS VERY DISGUSTING!!! BUT MY MOTHER WAS VERY EXHAUSTED AND ASK ME TO JUST TAKE IT. WE HAD TO STAY IN THIS ROOM FOR 2 NIGHTS. I'M VERY ANGRY FOR ALL OF THIS STRESSFUL SITUATION.
