Courtyard by Marriott Lexington North

Very nice hotel. The staff was wonderfull. The only thing I did not like was the cost of food and drinks; very expensive.

Elevator not working, no notice until check in, third floor could have been a problem for some. House keeping not 100% Front desk staff very good and helpfully

I can't really give a fair review since I didn't spend much time in the hotel except for sleeping. I loved the lobby with its fireplace and bar. The bed was okay but I think it could have used a thicker comforter. The sheets were really thin. This may just be my personal preference, as others may be okay with this. Lexington isn't a big city so the location of the hotel was within reasonable driving distance to everywhere I was going.

I had a perfect weekend. The staff and breakfast was excellent.

Unfortunately, I had missed my connecting flight and arrived at midnight on my check in day, and was back on the road again at 6am the following morning, so I didn't get to check out the rest of the hotel too much. However, the staff was welcoming and made check in and out a breeze, and the bed was so comfortable, it was the perfect thing to take away the stress of the trip!

I would not choose this hotel again. The staff does not take the effort or time to make the customer happy. Then, just too many mistakes on the hotels part. I have been back for a week..and still trying to get the hotel to fix their mistakes. The biggest mistake..the we were charged twice for our stay. We booked and paid for our hotel online...but when we checked out the hotel charged us again. Not so great. Then we paid extra for the room in order to get breakfast included. Well even though we were able to show proof of this..the hotel didnt seem to understand. We would wait in line..get up to front ready to order our breakfast...and get told that they dont have record of the free breakfast..so instead of them taking my proof and walking 12ft over to the person who would know..they had us go to take care of it and then have to go all the way to back of line...also dont think this will take a few seconds so you can enjoy your day. It takes over an hour for the line, the mistakes, the line again..then food to be prepared. So all the mistakes...and all the extra charges that arise...NOT worth IT! AND by the way..to be a Mariott hotel...the sheets did not cover the mattress! This was also a major flaw! We travel all the time due my kids basketball...if the sheets dont cover the mattress. I dont consider it a nice hotel! but maybe I am expecting too much..to only be charged once. for the staff to do their job. for any hotel that charges over $120 a night to have sheets that cover the mattress????

I have never had problems with bookings from [...]before, but when I arrived I had booked a King room with sofa sleeper and thats not what they were going to give me. The front desk person told me I can just have a roll away if I needed it. When I showed her a copy of my booking confirmation she just handed me a key and walked away. I looked at the room first it was very small and no sofa sleeper and one bed. It wasn't till I asked for the manager I got what I paid for. Then I had paid extra for breakfast for 2. Again, I had to show them the reciept and they had to get the manager to okay it. When I checked out it was on the bill. I had to show another person my reciept and she had to call the manager again to take it off the bill. Meantime, the staff was very rude and never once said sorry for their mistake. I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

Was taking a software training course. The atmosphere was quiet, and the staff were pleasant.

Arriving back to Lexington around 11PM meant I needed to get some sleep before driving the extra 3 hours home. Went to [...], found this Marriott property for a stellar deal, and booked it! The rooms are spacious, the Tempurpedic bed was comfortable, and the Starbucks in the lobby sure did wake me up the next morning. Highly recommend this hotel.

The front Desk personnel on Friday was helpful in changing my room when it was a mistake on the reservation, and with no hesitation. My next trip to Lexington,this is my stop.
