Forever Greenleaf
Excellent Place!!!
I arrived the at the hotel late (around 1AM) because my flight was delayed. I was a bit grumpy but when I was greeted by a courteous receptionist and yummy Chupa Chups (I haven't seen these since I was a little kid) I was already starting to feel much better! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. After a good night's sleep, I was able to enjoy delicious and nutritious complimentary breakfast. When I was done with work and ready to head back to the airport, I was wondering if the hotel offered any type of complimentary ride to the airport, such as shuttle. The receptionist told me that all the drivers were out at the moment but he would call for a cab and that hotel would still pay for it. I was so grateful!! I feel that I got much more than what I had paid by staying at this hotel. I really enjoyed it. If I go back to Lexington, this will definitely be the place I would like to go back to or recommend it to others who might be traveling in that area.

Spring hill suites
The hotel was very nice but for the price I would have liked to have 4 shower towels and I would hope for fluffer towels. And when I asked for mouthwash they were all out.

Nice and Clean
Very basic hotel. Clean room but small. Decent breakfast. Service was fine. Fitness center was way too small and extremely hot.

Good, solid hotel
Free breakfast, a great time (and money) saver each morning. Minutes to the heart of downtown, and to the UK campus.

Remarkably Pleased
The room was laid out well, comfortably furnished, far larger than I expected, and had a mini-kitchen and separate suite and bedroom areas with spacious closets. Clean, neat and comfortable -- I was remarkably pleased. The operator runs a nice, efficient operation. Check-in and out was a snap. Parking right outside the front door. Two restaurants (a waffle house and a Mexican place) almost next-door.

It's halfway between downtown Lexington -- which has some surprisingly good restaurants -- and the University of Kentucky campus, a half-mile to the south. It's about 15 minutes from the BlueGrass Airport (where the TSA security people seem to think they are an arm of the Gestapo) and Keeneland racetrack.
