Disappointed
Parking was listed as $9 on the web, but was charged $10. Very bland and very expensive. Just paid for the location.

Windowless After Stay
Great hotel, horrible parking
Went to Louisville for Pride weekend and wanted a downtown hotel within walking distance. We had 2 cars and had to park the second one in the overflow lot which is behind a liquor store. When we went out to the car the next morning, someone had busted out the back drivers side window and tried to pry into the glove box. They were stupid enough to leave the screwdriver they used laying in the passenger seat. Great stay until that happened

Great Value!
I attended professional meetings at the Kentucky Convention Center and I found the location to be a perfect walking distance to the Convention Hall and all the eateries on "4th Street Live". I never saw the room attendents but it was obvious they were attentive to details. Complimentary wireless in the room was a HUGE Plus! Complimentary breakfasts with a quick 'do-it-yourself' waffle baker (along with other usualls - oatmeal, pastries, microvable 'macmuffins', juices and fresh fruit)was a great way to start the day.

Although the hotel does not have shuttle service to the airport, I found the bus suitable ($1.50 each way - have the exact change) If you take the #2 bus or "Second Street Bus" from SDF and ride THROUGH town and ask the driver to let you off at "1st and Jefferson", you'll be right there and you'll get to see some of the quaint tree-lined residential areas of Louisville which was a real plus to me. Getting back to the airport is the same in reverse. Call TARC for a schedule or go to TARC online and check out their trip planner. Free Trolleys are a plus - check out their hours at the visitor's center.

Comfortable hotel in good location
The hotel room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Although my room was next to the elevators, it was fairly quiet. The only improvement needed is a better way to get to the parking garage as it was raining during my visit and the only way to get to my car was through the rain.

Hotel conveniently located, not your car
I chose this hotel because of its convenient location to the medical center while a family member was in the hospital. When we came back to the hotel one night, I found out that they had run out of parking spaces and were parking people in the auxiliary parking lot, a couple of blocks away. This was a poorly lit parking lot, at night, with no shuttle being offered. I was told by one of the desk clerks "We do not guarantee a parking space when you check in." The only consolation offered: I didn't have to pay the $9 parking fee. Additionally, the next morning, they ran out of hot water. If you are choosing this hotel because of its close proximity to the medical center, be aware that you may be parked some distance from the hotel (about half-way to the medical center, but in the wrong direction). I would have chosen a different hotel had I known their parking situation.

Blessed Weekend!
Was in town for a youth Empowerment Conference.Had a great time..I was very disappointed to have to pay for parking..the charge was too expensive..Even though the stay was nice..
