- RIVUE is literally the height of fine dining at the Galt House and in the city of Louisville. Situated elegantly on the 25th floor, this revolving restaurant is truly spectacular. Specializing in hearty steaks, veal and seafood, meals in RIVUE are served with traditional Southern hospitality with a breathtaking view of the waterfront. Our Sunday brunch is well-known by the locals and is a Louisville tradition you won't want to miss. Join us Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Jockey Silks Bourbon Bar
- Kick back and enjoy a specialty drink in the old-world setting of the Jockey Silks Bourbon Bar. It's a great place to catch up on the day's events or to watch the game on a big-screen TV. It's the perfect gathering place after a day of meetings or shopping. Lunch is served daily.
- Al J's and Thelma's
- The Conservatory, which spans Fourth Street and links the hotel's East and West Towers, is now complete. This impressive glass-domed structure is a unique and sociable meeting place. Here, you can relax and enjoy a fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee from Thelma's- open 24 hours--- Or cozy up to your favorite libation at Al J's, with its giant tropical fish aquarium bar. Modeled after the Crystal Palace in London, the Conservatory will be decorated with tropical plants and contain an aviary with exotic and colorful songbirds.

- Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast, lunch or dinner in a casual, laid-back setting. For quick, friendly service and hours that fit everone's schedule, head for the Caf Magnolia on the second floor. Open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. Breakfast buffet served daily from 6:00am-11:00am.

Pros - Great location! Huge Room Tons of rooms Mini Fridge in Room Several closets in room Cons - Rooms smelled like mildew & smoke Bathroom fans way too loud and stay on with lights Toilet flush way too loud Got 2 twin beds vs. 1 large bed for a couple

Thunder Over Louisville
Beautiful place, friendly staff, very pricey for a suite for 2 nights. The air show & fireworks were great, but we stood out in the cold to see them. Could have walked from any hotel downtown to see them. They were FREE! Also, no free WI-FI, we paid almost $600.00 for 2 nights and no FREE wi-fi. Wi-fi is FREE at McDonalds! How cheap!

Perfect for fireworks
The suites are bigger than my house! Restaurant was convenient and well-priced--and the food was tasty. Had a great time!

18th Wedding Anniversary
Elevators broken, walked up 12 flights of stairs with luggage in tow.
Check-in was easy and fast. The problem started when my husband and I waited 30 minutes for the elevator. Having dinner reservations at 6:00, we decided to take the stairs. Our room was on the 12th floor. We walked up 12 flights of stairs with luggage in tow. By the time we got to our room the time was 6:05. We missed our dinner reservations. We asked for a king bed, we were given two queens. I assumed we had a king bed at check-in because the person at the front desk didn't say any differently. Leaving the hotel to find some where to eat since we missed our dinner reservations, we waited yet another 30 mins for an elevator and then took the steps down 12 flights of stairs. Did I mention that we were celebrating our 18th Wedding Anniversary. The next morning while taking a cold shower, there were three large globs of long, blond hair matted to the walls in the shower. Enough already!
