Family getaway
My family had a great stay at the Springhill Suites. We had plenty of room and it was clean. We loved the exercise room and was served breakfast everyday. It is also near everything.

comfortable hotel in the city
The hotel was easy to find, right off the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than expected. The room was a good size; great that they offer a sleeper sofa option, not always available in the city hotels and a mini frig. The bathroom set up was a little different with a separate toilet room with bitty size sink and another room for shower stall and bigger sink. Nice view. Easy walking to many places including the Louisville Bats game.

Parking nightmare
The rooms were great, very comfy beds. Biggest problem was the parking. There are two hotels attached to each other, Springhill Marriott and Fairfield Marriott, they share a parking garage. It was full and hectic, people were very angry and had to park in overflow parking which was very confusing on where exactly that was. The front desk said this happened EVERY weekend.

bad room
over charged my card 670 3 x for smoking
pool was not to hold more than 5 people too small and mangemant caharge my card 4x for a total of 670 over a lie

Great hotel in downtown
Just needed a nice place for an overnight stay. Very nice room with 2 beds and sleeper sofa. Hotel is very fresh and recently remodeled.

Unbeatable location for the price
The hotel is within walking distance of anything you would want to do downtown. When we got tired of walking we could catch a cab or a bicycle back to the hotel for a few bucks. We went for a girls weekend and a show at the new arena (yum center) and the only problem was there was too much to do and not enough time to do it in.

We rushed to get something to eat before going to the yum center, but once we got in there found there was plenty of real food (not just hotdogs and pretzels), a bar, and a bourbon lounge inside, so we should have planned to get there early and eat. There is room service, but no restaurant in the hotel.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
The service was wonderful. However, all the surrounding rooms next to us was having an alnight party. My husband and I was awake most of the night for the slamming of the doors and the partiers tapping on our door. It was not a restful night. The pool was a joke. The exercise room was very nice.
