Good value.
This Ramada facility must have been impressive when new. It is an older motor lodge type of place with outside room entrances. The rooms were small, but clean, and the lobby was nice and roomy, but the air quality was stale due to the adjoining bar where smoking is permitted. When I go back, I will ask for an interior room. The area around back where my room was, looks a little rough due to the construction workers staying there.

Girls Night Out
Decent Night stay at a Decent hotel
It was a decent hotel, the lobby and main building very nice and remodeled, but we stayed in the second (unconnected) building and it was not as updated. There was no stairs on our side of the building and we had to walk all the way down and back around to get to our room with all our luggage. Otherwise, it was okay-breakfast was not the greatest unless you like donuts and location so-so.

Nice for the price!!
We were looking for a nice place in a safe area close to Holiday World. It was about 30 miles away, but this hotel was very nice for the price. Beautiful lobby, nice clean indoor pool, decent free breakfast. Staff was pleasant, room was more than adequate with a microwave, fridge, and safe. We really couldn't have asked for more for the price.

Get an interior room
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was a little small, but clean. Breakfast was good, but includes the same choices every day. One thing I did not like was the location of the hotel. It is located directly in between two bars, plus the hotel bar is open to the public. We had an exterior room and heard all sorts of noises from outside that kept us awake the first night of our stay. Overall we had a good trip, but I wish we had gotten an interior room!

Pizza By The Guy will deliver to this hotel and their menu is in the phone book in the room. The food was delicious! The kids liked it so much we ordered from there twice during our stay.

Unbeatable location for the price
My daughter and I were in Owensboro for State Softball Tournament. Room was cleaned each day the breakfast bar was great and eating area was well kept.

It was about 50/50
The stay was very pleasant. We were running a little late for check-out and advised the House Keeping staff we were still in the process of packing and making sure we had everything together. The House Keeping staff posted themselves outside our door and we could hear every rude comment coming out of their mouths including a big loud "ACK-HEM" letting us know they were waiting for us to depart. I feel that was very rude and disrespectful towards their guest that were currently staying with them. Asides from all of that, the front desk staff was extremely nice and so were the associates that ran the breakfast bar-The nice lady asked how our sleep went and made sure everything was to our liking and even held a nice little conversation to make us feel more at home and NOT just another warm body. I recommend this site to everyone i know who needs to stay in the area. It was very conveniently located to the bar i was performing at that weekend.
