Motel 6 Alexandria

This has detorated since we stayed there 2 years ago. The heat/air box did NOT work good. The carpet was stained but vaccumed. The maids did the best with what they had to work with. The outside needs a powerwash. We felt safe & food & shopping were really close. Would not stay again unless the place was redone. It was a good price for the town.

My biggest complaint is the flat pillows and unconfortable beds.

MY SON HAD HIS CONFIRMATION FOR CHURCH. I LIVE IN MISSISSIPPI SO I HAD TO STAY OVERNIGHT. THE MOTEL 6 WAS LOCATED IN AN AREA OF SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS. EXCELLANT PRICE FOR THE CONVENIENCE.

These are the things I like about the Motel. The room were clean, the a/c was cold, and the price was good for what I received.

My experience with this hotel was terrible. I arrived to find dirty bathrooms and no cleaning staff available to service us. We bought our own cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathrooms ourselves. The check in was smooth until I found out on my second day that I we couldn't get back in the room. My husband and I were at our family reunion. He went back to the hotel and they wouldn't let him in the room because his first name was not listed. We have the same last name and our DL addresses are the same. The manager was rude and insulting in that she made him drive back to the family home and pick me up to return just for a updated entrance key. This was truly an inconvenience. I asked her why they didn't tell me that at the time of checkin. She shrugged her sholders and told me she didn't know. There were several persons in the office complaining about the entrance problems. I think they just want all the tennants to be inconvenienced by checking back in daily. They accepted my payment in full for the entire stay but I didn't appreciate the 30 minutes of time I had to take out standing in line to get my door key updated. She was rude to the guests as if it was our fault. I WILL NEVER STAY AT MOTEL 6 again.

I was in town June 21-23 2010 for a job interview. The location is good and there are plenty of restaurants and stores close by. It was a clean room with a comfortable bed, an awesome air conditioner, and 28 cable channels including HBO. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice but packed with people and you could hear them from the room. It was a great value for the money.

The hotel ran out of towels, and there was no ice. There was a lot of people that lived there. They had their dogs outside at 6am barking. Staff is friendly, except for the one that was knocking on our door at 1am looking for my friend. Its a good location. Its next to a grocery store and many places to eat.

I went to visit. Was excited because alot of stores around. Then I got there and had to go through all the paperwork after making reservations. They had me booked for the wrong choice of rooms. Wanted me to park on one side of building, walk to different building upstairs. Finally gave me the right type of room. Went to open door, had to bump it open with my shoulder. The queen bed looked like a bowl. The tv was the a 19" with 5 channels. The shower was barely big enough to stand in and had to turn it on 10 minutes before I got in to get hot water. The pillows were maybe 2 inches thick. Never again will I stay at motel 6. When you go for a cheap room this is what you get. They stated at check in they had free wifi. In looking at the chart in the room of what comes with your stay, you have to buy the card for $3.76, that is not free. Coffee at 7am, I was visiting at that time. NOT A GOOD STAY AT ALL.

room 209-- i checked in and was super tired got to room inspected bed -- it wa very clear that the sheets had not changed just cover up-- still hair and stains on pillow..

This hotel is very old and ran-down. Would not stay here again.
