Ramada Alexandria

We had a very nice week-end stay. The area is nice! and had everthing we needed. The continential breakfast is wonderful

This hotel has what I needed and that is location, clean, helpful, fitness, computer station, continental breakfast. . Walking distance to many restaurants, and conveniences. Nice staff and very accomodating!

We called early on the day of our arrival to make sure we would be getting the room we paid for. We were told we would be getting a king-bed smoking room with refrigerator and microwave, When we got there, we were told our room had NOT been cleaned so they were sticking us in a non-smoking room. The night manager insulted our intelligence by telling us that we "should read the fine print" regarding whether we would get that actual room. I was so ticked off that I would have left immediately and insisted on a refund, but it was a prepaid reservation. The next morning, we asked the maid staff if they could clean the room we were promised and let us move over to it, which they were more than happy to do. The day clerk said it wouldn't be until after 2 p.m., but the maids had it done by 10 a.m. Kudos to the maid staff. BAH, HUMBUG to the management staff.

The room was great, especially for the price. My main complaint is that there weren't enough towels for us to shower and swim; we had to go to the front desk to ask for more because there were none by the pool. But this was a small problem that was easily resolved.

I usually stay here when in town and the accommodations work for the needs that I have.

THE SERVICE WAS FINE AND THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN. THE PLACE JUST NEEDS AN OVERHAUL. FROM OLD WALLPAPER ON THE WALLS TO THE SMELL OF 20 YR OLD CIGARETTE SMELL.

I wasn't expecting a clean well managed hotel because the price was so low. Boy was I shocked to find this hotel was very, very clean; management and staff were excellent.;Breakfast was great!!! It was worth more than we paid to stay there. I will stay here every time I am in Alexandria.

The only knock I would have is that the remote for the TV didn't work properly. Everything else was satisfactory. Good value for the price.

as in all motels the carpet was dirty. they were vaccumed, but still had ground in dirt that could have been carpet cleaned better. the overall stay was pleasent. the clerks and staff were pleasent and friendly.

The room was adequate for my needs, but there were a few hiccups that will probably keep me from staying there again. Any one of them wouldn't be enough on it's own - but all together, it's enough to make me search somewhere else next time: 1. First night - there were no towels or washclothes in my room. The front desk took care of me - but I shouldn't have had to worry about this. 2. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a large selection, but most of it was poor quality. The coffee was decent, and I ate some yogurt, but nothing else was worth touching. 3. The front desk clerk had only coded my key for 1 night instead of two, so when I went to my room the second night, I couldn't get in and had to walk to the front desk to get it fixed. The daytime clerk made a comment that the nighttime clerk had done this more than once.
