I came for a bowling tournament and needed a place to stay that was fairly close to the river center. This place is in a great location and close to everything. The condition of the hotel is not very good, the beds are not really comfortable, the feel of the place was not inviting, and the breakfast was not really attended to in the morning. If you just need a place to get you to B.R. then its not bad for a night, maybe two. For an extended stay and comfortability, i would definitely go to some of the nicer places that are right next door...crown plaza, doubletree, etc...

Chili's is right next door, Ihop right down the road....TJ's Ribs and a couple of other places are really close...Best Mexican in town is La Caretta's!!

great location, good value
no matter where you're going around Baton Rouge, this hotel is in a great location. It's close to tons of restaurants and shopping and is also right near the interstate so getting downtown is easy. The free continental breakfast was great and we really enjoyed having mini-fridges and microwaves in our room.

Good, but ...
The hotel was fine. The staff was very nice and very accomidating. I guess I expect a little more from a Comfort Inn.

I spent the weekend in Baton Rouge to visit my daughters and grandson. The hotel was clean and the staff professional. The breakfast bar was adaquate but would have preferred scrambled eggs but the hard boiled ones were fine. I will stay here again.

Great Location
My sister and I were in Baton Rouge to attend a meeting with the Department of Defense. We were delighted to find that the hotel was next door to the place our meeting was to be held. The hotel staff was helpful and courtious. The room was clean and provided enough room to be comfortable. For me the beds were a litte to firm, but my sister thought they were fine. A pleasant surprise was the complementary bottled water in the refrigerator. Only small issue was air condidtioner didn't seem to cooling as well as expected. Though the hotel fronts I-10 there was no road noise. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Copeland's .... great atmosphere and food is superb. Save room for a piece of the delectible cheesecake.

good value and good location
Good value and good location next to Interstate 10. We could not hear the traffic from the interstate and that made it easy to sleep. Breakfast was great. Only drawback was no vent fan in the bathroom. The bathroom would instantly steam up if the shower ran for just a few seconds. Looking at the scuff marks on the bathroom door, we were not the only customers who used the trash can to prop open the door.

nice hotel for a short stay
