Voice of the Wetlands stay-over
Although this motel was very inexpensive and a bit run-down, the service was very friendly, they served a hot breakfast gratis and it was so close to the festival! I will definitely come back to this motel the next time I'm in that part of Houma!!

Very good place to stay.
When we first checked in, the room we were given was unacceptable to my husband. It was on the backside of one of the wings and he was worried that in an emergency it would be hard for an ambulance to get to us. We were then given a room right up front next to the office with its own parking place. My one complaint is that I found a large, white KING RANCH truck parked in one of the blue designatged handicapped spaces on the side of tghe main building that was not displaying either the special license plate or the placard that hangs from the rear view mirror. I was told it belonge to the owner's son-in-law.

Very good
Other than I was only there for about 5-6 hours, overall it was okay. The only complaint I have is that I was there for one night and they charged me twice, but I have contacted them and they state it was a mess up with the credit card company they use and that it is being fixed, it apparently happened to everyone on that night. Will see in a day or two if it gets resolved, if not I will call back.

It was a older hotel but seemed clean. Several nights were noisy and had to complain.

Southern Hospitality at it's finest!
They were all very friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to make my Christmas vacation a very special and memorable one! I will return to Houma and stay there again as I hope to move there someday! Great location for anyone who wants to stay outside of New Orleans and close to bayou country!

staff was very unprofessional
the trip was great, i was there from Oct. 2- Oct. 12 and only seen housekeeping come by 3 times out of 10 days not so good

from the motel there's really nothing too do except the bar at the motel and it was lame. all too do was a driving distance away
