Only if you're desperate
Motel-type 70s rooms, facing a busy street, old, dark, dated and neglected - needs a lot of maintenance. Examples: bed was hard, sheets did not fit, only 3 pillows for 2 people, coffee-maker never worked, despite promise to fix it. Internet only worked sporadically; the bedside clock had the wrong time by an hour (we arrived from the East and did not realise there was an hour time difference and nearly missed breakfast)! The shower was clean but scuffed and old; there was no exhaust fan and window could not be opened. Room always smelled wet and moisture warped a bathroom wall. Breakfast was basic, with absolutely everything sugary - no toast or fruit or any healthy options. Stay here only if you're on a very tight budget and only for a night. Location is not exactly ''in the heart of town''. Do not go to the Greek/Lebanese restaurant next door; it's dark, inauthentic and overpriced for the small portions!

Lafayette has several interesting and fascinating Cajun historical locations; not to be missed are the authentic Vermillion Village with an afternoon of fantastic Cajun dance music and the Lafayette Centre display and film next door – that alone is worth a visit to Lafayette.

It was fine for a couple nights, but you may want to bring a mattress pad with you. We asked for another blanket (because the mattresses were like ply-wood) and they said they "did not keep extras". We paid $40 a night- you get what you pay for.

Met our needs
We needed a place to stay for a family emergency, near the ULL campus. The location was great, the room acceptable. Easy check-in. Good experience

Clean and comfortable for the price!
I was attending a conference at the Hilton and stayed at this hotel because of the price. There was no bathtub in the bathroom of the room I rented but I did not mind since I usually take showers. However this could be a problem if you have young children.

Good price,clean room
we took a cab to the Parc International for a benefit concert and the place rocked... the people are hospitable. Had a little trouble trying to get a cab back to the room..
