Wingate by Wyndham Lafayette Airport

Good experience. This hotel is less then 4 years old, is well maintained, has a great staff, and is very clean. The rooms are very comfortable and I will stay there again.

My experience at Wingate was very plesant. The room was very big. The mattress was not as comfortable as I thought it would be (no pillow top). The room was very clean. The staff was very nice. The location was kind of far from all the places such as restuarants, malls, and entertainments.

I needed a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel to rest for a 2 day personal trip to Lafayette,and the Wyndham fits my need. The room was comfortable with wi-fi capability and breakfast was included which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They directed me to Cafe Ahnvee just a couple doors down from the hotel to get lunch one day since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, and I really enjoyed the food. There are many other places to eat within 1-2 mile radius and the Cajun Dome is about 4 miles away. This hotel is very close to the airport as well which is convenient.

The staff couldn't have been nicer and the hotel was one of the cleanest I think I have ever been too. My only complaint was the fact that the mattress was hard as a rock, but I think anymore that's what most hotels have gone too. It seems like they pick the hardest and most firm they can find. With that being said, I would surely stay here again if I am in the area, the pros outweigh the cons ten-fold.

Best hotel I've stayed at for the money. Wish there were more options at breakfast bar though.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was good, and the cookies in the afternoon were great. Plus, thru Orbitz, it was $40 less at checkout than what I expected. Yahoo!

Beautiful room. Super comfortable bed. Very nice overall! Would stay here again, very disappointed none available this weekend! Quiet area, couldn't hear a thing from inside of the room.

The breakfast was wonderful, the staff was very helpful..Will use the same hotel again...The beds were very comfortable....room service was great....

The hotel was clean and the room was nice, and the hotel was in a good location. Only things missing were a pool and a better breakfast selection. The first night was great, but the second night was a problem. A guest in the room next door turned the TV up loud enough to be heard in my room and down the hall in both directions. I went to the front desk -- phone was messed up -- to ask if they could do something about the noise. After the clerk knocked on the door and called the room, he could not get anyone. He said that was all he could do because they cannot enter the room. At midnight, I had to pack all my things and move to another room so I could sleep. He did not even offer to reduce or comp the room for the inconvenience. The next day the manager would not adjust anything either -- she did offer another room at another time if I stayed again. Oh, and they did print me a receipt that showed a much better rate than what I actually prepaid through [...]-- thanks for that bonus.

The hotel staff was very helpful. We mentioned we wanted to order pizza when we checked in and the lady checking us in wrote down several names and numbers of places that deliver for us.
