trip to lake charles.

we went to lake charles to get away for the weekend, do a little gambling, enjoy some great food. every thing was very enjoyable. the room was very clean and comfortable. I will go back next time I go to lake charles. desk clerk was very helpful, cordial and friendly.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

we had breakfast @ IHOP. the wait was about 30 min. but the service was good and the food was even better.will have breakfast there next time I go to lake charles

I felt pretty uncomfortable there.

Hotel had everything that was NECESSARY for an overnight stay. Other than that, I was very uncomfortable in the room. The couch was dirty, the sheets had cigarette burns on them, and the bathroom was far from clean. If you're just looking for a cheap place to stay and not too worried about aesthetics or cleanliness, this is the place for you. They have free breakfast though- waffles and cereal.

Poor

The staff was friendly and location okay. The room was big enough. Not real clean, only one light worked, hole in tub, rust marks on counter, no restaurants nearby.

Old and dingy

Good location for where we needed to be, but very run-down. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Sheets were thread bare, wallpaper coming off walls. But was quiet and was okay for one night.

Wonderful experience

Well I went and relaxed on a beach named Holly Beach. Thern I came to the hotel and showered and went out on the town . Great experience and wonderful location.All my needs where accomidated.Terrific. Some places I've ventured to where way outr of reached and in a bad location. This hotel was perfect. Thanks!
