Overnight stay with family
Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was great. Swimming pool was closed for treatments was the only drawback and price was a little high. Other than those things overall experience was great.

Very beautiful place to rest and relax.
I was there to get some sleep, before returning home. The Inn was very clean and smoke free. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the host that assisted us. THE only negative was the train that passed by the hotel.

Hotel stay 8-9
[...] was a bright spot in my day. After a long day of travel, he was so kind and helpful. I will definitely stay again at this hotel. There was some noise from the train in the later eve, but I never heard it again after that. I had a restful nights sleep. In the morning I got a call from [...] letting me know this is my wake up call :)

I love the Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortful. The morning breakfast was good. The breakfast, and Hotel staff was very helpful and frendly.

Great for families and business travelers
The Monroe Residence Inn was very comfortable. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and had everything we needed. The location is great. It's situated next to a mall with convenient shopping for almost anything. A Sam's Club is just across I-20 and a food store only about a mile away. The front desk had directions for almost anything. Complimentary breakfast was always good with friendly, helpful staff. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. I needed a stamp for a birthday card and they provided one free of charge and mailed my card for me. Also, maintenance staff were always quick and helpful...a shelf in one of the closets needed repair and they came up immediately when called. The only thing that might be a problem for light sleepers is that it is located near a railroad track that is used several times a day and night. I grew up with trains passing in front of my home, so, it was nostalgic for me and we slept well. No problem for my spouse either but I did hear some guests with children who had a slight problem. All in all, I was very happy.
