Located in downtown New Orleans walking distance to all major attractions New Orleans has to offer. The hotel is only a short 4 blocks to the world famous superdome and only 4 blocks to the most famous street in the south-Bourbon Street. Hotel offers free continental breakfast served daily beginning at 6:30am. Hotel also offers free wireless Internet access, and a 24 hour business center. Pet Accommodation: 75.00 USD pet/per night. Must be in Kennel. Pet Limit: 2 pets per room under 25 pounds. Self Parking 14.00 USD limited space available, offsite overflow parking available at an additional charge. Call hotel for details.

good choice

A short walk to Bourbon Street, good location. Although the hotel is older, room was spacious and comfortable. Would stay again if in the area

DO NOT STAY HERE

the hotel is located in a terrible section of canal st. do not walk near this hotel at night, you must take a cab at night. the staff is VERY rude from start to finish. from check in to check out, even the maids were rude. the furniture in the rooms is broken and damaged. the refridgerator in the room was broken and falling out of its cabinet. the bed and head board were damaged. the tv stand was scratched and damaged (they attempted a repair with a black marker).

Great location in French Quarter

The Clarion was walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. The price for the proximity to everything makes this a great stay.

Home like feeling

The staff was particularly attentive, and very hospitable. The room was clean, neat and organized. I will very likely stay again when I return to New Orleans. The area was at a good distance from Bourbon Street, and the canal street car is at the door step.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Go to Dragos at the River front for the best charbroiled oysters in New Orleans. As a former resident of New Orleans I tried them all, non beat Dragos.

Decent Place

Place was decent. Renovating so will be nicer in the future. Staff was nice. Bathroom was small.

ORDINARY/clean and GREAT LOCATION.

They offer PAID parking at over 20 a night, so be wary of that. There is, however, a 5 dollar parking lot near them. Look it up, it's decent putting looks aside. The elevators sound sick but they work. The place looks like it's worn from all the partyers that flow through. Other than that it's better than other places. The location is great! I might stay there again just for that reason.

Clean hotel withing easy walking distance of the French Quater

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. It's well with in walking distance of the French Quater. It was clean and quiet.
