Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

take the bus into the french quaters, the parking is very high besides that u pretty much have to walk every where u go why chance in having something happen to your car the bus is very convient just make sure u get a bus schdule, oh and it cheap to ride the bus too.

Great for the price

About 10 minutes to Bourban Street by car. The room was comfortable and the staff nice. Cant beat it for the price.

Nice Place

The hotel was clean and the housekeepers and staff friendly. The hotel was located right by train tracks so you could hear the train throughout the night. Conviently located right off of the hwy and once I learned the roads easy to get around. Only bad part was the bathroom door did not fully latch, and the toilet did not flush properly along with the sink having a leak. All in all it was nice and convient to where I was visiting. I would probly stay again.

A decent place

We weren't at the hotel for too long so it was good enough for that purpose. All around it was a very average hotel, nothing spectacular but not the worst in the business. I was shady of the area to begin with but there were no problems at all. I would have felt more at ease with a safe in the room, however. The fact that there actually was a microwave, fridge and iron + board was great and the vending machine was sufficient. We stayed at a different hotel in another city the previous night and I definately preferred this hotel ROOM over that one. However, I preferred the service of the former. Like the rest of the latter hotel the service was average.
