Room cleanliness
The room was great, location perfect I liked that the hotel is not connect to the casino directly, but our hotel room carpet had a large stain infront of the closet I reported it to let them know it was not us, but they said it would take some time to get the carpet cleaned, hopefully they can get it done for the next person so it won't look so bad, very thing else was clean and fresh. Staff very freindly.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Use the street cars. They are cheap ($1.25 per trip or $3.0 for all-day) and save time and effort.

Tired
After four days of basketball and 3 nights of dining and taking in the sights of the French Quarter our last night was spent at Harrah's... a short time in the casino and a short night before flight. Room clean, staff friendly just can't add much more.

Friendly Staff
Kind of expensive, there are other hotels around there that are just as nice and cheaper. The staff was very friendly always willing to help with anything, without them the hotel would have been ordinary. Smokey halls and the carpet in the room was not vacuumed. The room was very nice high end decor.

nice rooms, few extras
Charged for room upon registering but corrected after called by travel agency who called the hotel. No breakfast provided, paid for internet. You would think that for the rate internet access would be free.

Great Getaway
We went for conference and some NO fun. The hotel staff always greeted us with a smile and were very helpful with directions on where to go. The hotel location is perfect for walking to the Conference Center and to to the French Quarters. The casino was a fun way to start the night off and to end it to. The room was wonderful but we had a problem with hot water for the shower. They had a deep cozy warm bathtub that was just fine for me.

Visiting from South Carolina
The hotel is in a great location. Although parking is expensive ($30) you can park in the casino parking lot- (adjacent to the hotel), play for 30 minutes in the casino and get free parking each day. Room very clean, bathrooms excellent, very nice hotel for the money I will be going back and staying here again.

Long walk from hotel
call a bike ride carriage when going to the Superdome. They can maneuver through the traffic more efficiently and it is not expensive.
