Room Check in ......
My experience at the hotel was very pleasant. Everyone who worked there was helpful and friendly. I did not have any problems checking into the hotel. I was concerned prior to leaving on the trip because when I called to confirm my reservation I was told that orb. had not put in my request for the non-smoking side view balcony room. So the hotel reservationist told me she would put in a Smoking room side balcony Request but that it was not guaranteed. I told her I paid extra to get the non-smoking balcony room and she said Orb. could not guarantee that room BUT as I said when I arrived, I had the room I paid for through Orb. All went very smoothly. Would stay at hotel again and book through Orb.

A spritely geezer
Great eating nearby
Although only one street away from the very noisy Bourbon Street (think spring break at Fort Lauderdale), the hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was within blocks of Brennan's and the equally wonderful Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse. This was an affordable, decent hotel within the French Quarter. I would stay there again.

Location, Location, Location
Perfect spot just a block from Bourbon Street with easy access to the French Quarter. It's a beautifully restored building with lots of character. Staff is great.

Anniversary trip
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for our anniversary. It was always clean and cleaned early. The location is perfect, just one block from Bourbon which means it is quiet at night. Security was always present as it was in most places in the French Quarter. The bar had very reasonable prices and the pool was always clean. Would definitley stay here again!

Johnny's po boys just a few blocks from the hotel gave you large amounts of good food and prices were very reasonable. Open for breakfast and lunch. Mother's which is a longer walk has a very tasty combination plate at a reasonable price so you can taste different unique New Orleans food. We also enjoyed a great roast beef po'boy at a dive bar in the garden district called Parasol's. Worth the walk!
