Holiday Inn NEW ORLEANS-DOWNTOWN SUPERDOME

Great for family graduation trip. Location very good; close enough to Quarter. Pool very nice. Clean, friendly. Parking always an issue in NOLA, but they accomodated loading. Plenty of reasonable nearby parking. I've stayed in NOLA hotels 7 times in 4 years. This was one of the top two.

This is the second time I have stayed at this Holiday Inn. It's close enough to walk to Bourbon St or to take the street cars. The poolside room was great.

Most of the staff was helpful especially my first night! I was a nervouse wreck and they helped ease my mind... Not sure if I would have enjoyed my stay of it weren't for those handful of ppl from front desk to housekeeping... As for some other staff they were rude and made me feel unwelcome.. I consider myself overly polite and I at least expect manners and polite behavior in return... The hotel was well kept and I felt safe there... It's in a great location if u don't want to be right in the heart of everything yet close enough to enjoy the French quarter... Take advantage of the free shuttle... g that would make it better is a continental

Basically used it to crash when not out partying. Good location for the Superdome and Arena. Room was decent. Bartenders were cool. Housekeeping was noisy, what are you yelling for at 7am in the hallway. Food was okay.

A little background on me. i am a seasoned traveler for business so i understand the services that are expected at hotels. Overall, i thought it was nice place to stay. I was down in NO for Final Four weekend for basketball. While i was worried about the other reviews saying the staff was unpleasant and it wasnt a great place to stay, i would say i found it to be quite the opposite. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. While the location might not be in the greatest of areas, its still was quite safe.. we walked back and forth to boubon st and down to the riverside all hours of the days including after midnight without a problem. Just like anywhere else, be responsible and dont walk by yourself late at night. Take a cab or go in groups. I would stay here again without hesitation

Location not close to any of the normal New Orleans attractions or areas except for the Superdome. Be prepared to drive everywhere or do a lot of walking.

Everything was great, especially the location. The only downside was that the AC didn't maintain that ideal temperature for us. The temperature in the room was either 3 degrees too cold or too warm. However, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting the Superdome & French Quarter.

The hotel rooms are fairly clean. You have to pay $25 to park in a shady parking garage attached to the hotel. Not a good deal at all! The elevators weren't the greatest either. Left me scared every time I went on one. The restaurant in the hotel wasn't very good. The food was way overpriced for what it was. The buildings surrounding the hotel are all run down. There's construction in front of the hotel making it hard to drive around there. If you want to walk around at night, make sure you are in a group! There are a few bus stops outside the hotel, and they got a little scary at night. Oh, you also don't get breakfast, you have to pay for it. I will probably never stay there again.

I stayed here before my cruise and after, two slightly different experiences. The first bed was great, the second I kept feeling I was going to roll off and would find myself at the edge. The rooms were clean and had slightly funky modern decor. My second room had that stupid counter shelf that runs behind the toilet keeping the lid from really being all the way up, so it would smack me occasionally. A/c, TV, and wi-fi worked well. Now, the not so good. I had visitors in my bathroom when I got up in the middle of the night. Hotel saff came quickly to deal with it, though my guests had scurried away with the light. This is LA, so this seemed to be expected. The shuttle did not run daily as advertised, some day only until noon, other days not at all. It was not a HORRIBLE walk to the French Quarter, and the Canal Street trolley was only 3 blocks away, but if it had been hotter, or I was less physically able it would have been a big problem. I had issues with the business center, could not print my documents for my cruise. Also, the hotel just seemed very understaffed, especially when they were really full and busy before my cruise. Will I stay here again....probably not. But never say never.

Loved it. In walking distance to the superdome. And the quarter. Will be back
