When it comes to charming New Orleans Inns, Olde Town Inn is one of the best. Located in the historic Marigny neighborhood, our Guests stay in one of Americas four hippest neighborhoods according to Travel and Leisure, which is adjacent to the French Quarter and has a bohemian mix of residents and is the most charming, centrally located and historically significant neighborhood in New Orleans, only a short 6 block walk or 5 dollar taxicab ride into the French Quarter. Our luscious tropical Courtyard is an oasis and our rooms are eclectically furnished combining antiques with modern amenities. * Airport NEW ORLEANS LOUIS ARMSTRONG INTL APT - 18miles * NEW City - 1miles * Airport HOUMA - 45miles

Cruise & N'Orleans getaway

We stayed in the 2 bedroom the first two nights, and really enjoyed the n"orleans charm--also lots of room! The last 3 nights we stayed in 1.5 bedroom which we didn't like as well. The staff is very accomodating, and went out of their way for us. The Inn is within walking distance to the French Market, The French Quarter, and Frenchmen Street. The patio areas are beautiful with loads of charm.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

We found Harrah's Buffet had many n'orleans dishes, and was as good as we had anywhere. Also, The Praline Connection on Frenchmen Street was pretty good, which is a short walk.

Lovely place steps from Frenchmen and all the music you could ever want. Great character with a wonderful courtyard and friendly staff.

I won't stay there again

Creaky beds..the room next to mine had the TV on all night...sheets/comforter were dirty...bathroom does not have a door...got lucky...didn't travel with a friend.....the toilet was not clean. The Front desk Guy.... was friendly, in fact he did what he could to please the customer. I have nothing to blame the Hotel for...

Could have been better

The room lacked a bathroom door and the tub did not look very clean along with that a dirty carpet and also the door to the actual room looked like it didn't seem to lock securely. I would say that there would need to be so renovations and repairs to a significant portion of the venue.
