Parc St. Charles

The Parc is a wonderful little hotel. Excellent location just 5 blocks from French Quarter and right on the St. Charles Trolley Car line. We took the trolley both to and from Canal St. The front staff, Jeremy and Ryan gave excellent service. The rooms are small but clean. Not much in the way of fo-fo amenities but we did not need anything. The hotel is in the middle of a remodel but that did not distract from our experience. I will use them again when I am in New Orleans.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. To be perfectly honest I had not idea what to expect. 4-5 blocks up from the French Quarter. 1.5 Miles to the Garden district, walked everywhere. I did booked quite cheaply via internet, but we didn't need much either. Room was small but accommodated the 2 of us. Breakfast wasn't cheap but was delicious. Valet $28 a day luckily we only used it one day for a friend's car... My only real complaint is that my husband is diabetic and when I asked for a small refrigerator for his insulin they told me they didn't have one. Not even for an extra fee... like not a one on the premise!!! So we were forced to make do with the ice bucket. But if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep this place works.

I have been to NOLA a couple times now. Stayed in a Le Pavillon and would recommend them before this place. I would not advise that you stay here. They are still undergoing renovations (seems like they have been doing it for ever). The staff is not that friendly. The valet brought back our truck with a flat and no one claimed responsibility, apologized nor assisted. They are seemed like it was no big deal. Hotel blamed the valet, valet says there was nothing that they could do. It was just not a good experience. While our issues may have been isolated I would have handled the situation a lot different if I were the hotel management staff.

The location was a great central spot and perfect for walking to the popular places, and the staff was very helpful and our room was cleaned well every day, but the gym was in a huge office building across the street, there was no mini fridge or microwave, and there were only 2 elevators, one being a shared service elevator that took forever. They were also doing construction/renovations, so if you were in the hotel during the day it was really loud. The plans for what it will be renovated to look good though, but make sure to ask where they are in the construction process.

Surprised to find construction and redecorating in progress. Our king room was very small. The room with two queens our friends had was very large. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was very good for the activities we were interested in, including getting to the Superdome and The Arena. Close to many good restaurants. Be ready to do some walking in New Orleans.

Room was excellent - staff was more than excellent.

My stay couldn't have been better. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean with new beds, carpets, TV and lighting. The A/C was very comfortable even though the temp changed outside quite a bit. I guess I benefited from the remodeled and updated rooms - the hallways were clean with new carpet and paint. You can't beat the location and the value. It definitely is a great place to stay right on the St. Charles street car line and the parade route. Terrific restaurants busy with locals within a block and downstairs. I'll be back.

Way over priced for the room. The bthroom was not very clean and the carpeting was very dirty. The location was great but it needs work.

The hotel was under renovations, so we got a room for 1/3 the usual price!!! You can't beat that for this location we had a great vacation
