Great location, close to everything and very comfortable
An older hotel that has held up well. Nice interior; pleasant decor. Decent sized room; bathroom was small, but reasonably appointed. If I were looking for a place to stay on Bourbon St, I'd definitely be happy to book again.

Really good
I've stayed here before and all I can say is you cannot beat the location if you are wanting to do Bourbon Street and French Quarter. For those who complain about the noise that stay in this hotel, I suggest you take a room not on the Bourbon Street side. I've stayed in both sides and its really not bad on Bourbon side but I have seen some reviews where people complained about loud noises coming from Bourbon street late night. I have to laugh because why would you stay there if you are going to bed early!! Its New Orleans and Bourbon Street for goodness sakes:-) If you are looking for a couple nights stay or just one night, I suggest this place. I am a traveling musician and have stayed all over the world. For the price and location, you cannot beat it!!!!

This hotel is in the heart of the actions of New Orleans French Quarter. The staff was amazing, the breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise. Thanks so much! I would have guests stay in this hotel for sure

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
This hotel is a great location. It's on Bourbon Street so I can see where it could be loud at night, but ask for a courtyard room and you won't hear the crazies on Bourbon.

Ramada Plaza on Bourbon
Best place to stay in the French quarter at a great price! We were upgraded to a courtyard balcony room at no extra charge and without asking. The room was clean and comfortable, although small. The TV remote did not work but was promptly replaced by the staff. The internet connection was down for a couple of days but we learned we can live without Facebook. Security was excellent and the staff was friendly. It was great to be able to walk out the door and be in the heart of the Quarter!

First-time NOLA
So So
Overall, the hotel was okay, it had its good points and bad. First, the good points... the people are extremely friendly and the pool courtyard was very nice and well maintained. On the weekends, there's a bartender to serve drinks poolside. Next the not so good... other than the pool the amenities were lacking. The "business center" is something of a closet with one computer, a broken printer and an atm that charges over $3 per use. The bathroom fan in our room and some of the other rooms of people I spoke with were not operational. The hairdryer is from maybe the 1970s so bring your own if you need one. One thing that they can't help and I wasn't aware of since it was my first visit to NOLA is the location is only good if your a bachelor party or young group that likes to party. Bourbon Street is not at all family friendly and smells like a mix of pee, puke and trash ALL day, EVERY day, especially in the hot sun. Next time I go back, I'd likely use a different hotel, this one is not for me.

in the heart of the french quarter
Everyone was very polite and accommodating. Very pleasant and relaxing during the week and liveley on the weekend as you would expect on the corner of toulouse and bourbon street. We stayed in a room without a balcony on the backside of the hotel away from bourbon street and I was glad we did , it was very quite and made for a good nights sleep after a long day walking the quarter and enjoying its many shops.Centrally located from the French market,riverfront,aquarium/i-max,and all street cars.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Get the powerpass for the city. My daughter and I went to the I-max theater three times the aquarium twice,Natchez river cruise, swamp tour, zoo, city walking tour, swamp tour and several museums. I dont think we would have seen and done as many things as we did if i had to shell out the cash at each venue, it was nice to be able to go to the theater or aquarium each day to cool down and enjoy a show or the exibits.

Inn on Bourbon
Checked in after midnight, and we were able to switch our room to quieter non-smoking rooms without any problems. Staff was great at accommodating us, including allowing us to store our rented bicycles in a locked conference room for easy and safe access.
