Great Hotel Experience!
Had a great experience staying at this hotel. The hotel was beautifully decorated, rooms were very comfortable, nice breakfast & parking was very reasonable and safe. It was within walking distance from the French Quarter and shopping areas, as well as art galleries (a plus). I would definitely stay at this hotel again upon my return to New Orleans.

Shopping was a few blocks away...or catch a short ride in a cab.

Too little for too much
Our room did not get cleaned for 4 days of our 5 night 6 day stay and only after I had to repeatedly ask for service. Too far from the French Quarter. Too many club parties too loud to get sleep for the location.

Springhill suites double billed me!
The hotel was clean but the room was small. Our room was very noisy due to its location over the building that housed the central air for the entire building. I didn't find out that Springhill Suites had also charged my AmEX card for the room until I recieved my statement on July 30. HOW CAN I GET THEM TO REMOVE THE CHARGE?????

Comfortable home away from home....
This hotel was a quiet gift at the end of long noisy days...the rooms were very clean...comfortable and had a nice seperate space so that not everyone has to sleep or watch TV. The free breakfast provided was way beyond "continental" Good food with lots of choices and well stocked. The hotel is close to all but also just far enough away to relax...and you will need to in this city.... Taxi service was available outside the door and the staff was very friendly and was always helpful. The housekeeping staff was amazing.....they made the room sparkle and smell good each day......We were there for 6 days and we never felt disappointed. There is a nightclub just outside the hotel to the right and a bar and grill when you don't want to get up and go far. This is really close to the museums, convention center and garden district as well as the french quarter...the city is not so big that you feel left outside..... We would stay here again if we come back to the BIG EASY....and we will look for this chain when we stay else where....

The Riverwalk is a nice place to sample lots of the foods and pick up some quick souveniers...IT is a quick 10 minute walk from the hotel door to the riverwalk entrance.....and you can take a taxi back from the far end for around $6.
