Shreveport hotel
Didn't like how we had to come in the back way to get to the room. Didn't feel safe. Didn't like that the entrance from outside was not locked. Our patio door wouldn't close so maintenance had to force it. Felt nervous all night. One of the locks on the patio door was broken. Breakfast was great and the room was clean. The bathroom needs an update. Looked very run down. The people were friendly. Lobby and lounge were very nice.

The hotel has pleasant staff, the hotel has amazing potential, though it falls short in every category. Basically the hotel is a little run down and doesn't maintain its facilities like most best westerns do. If you like super 8s or days inns this hotel is for you, though if you are holiday inn type then you are not going to enjoy your stay here. Breakfast is amazing though... internet slow...

There is a subway (not a good location) and waffle house near by. Though if you like finer dining you have to drive into town. The waffle house is nice, the subway has horrible customer service and they do a poor job on piecing the sub together...

the hotel is old... the only reason I chose it was because I needed a microwave/fridge in the room as we were traveling with kids. breakfast not bad.

unbeatable location for the price
My overall view of the hotel was good. i have been staying her during Tanksgiving or over 10 years and look forward to staying here next year

MAD dad
The bad,and ugly
Check-in Office was staged great. But,When we got our key and walked around the corner there sit any old apartment next to the office. It was down hill from there.Once entering the room. (I prayed).I think there should be State inspections yearly.When you see broken outlets,holes in the walls,open cracks not sealed.doors with loose hinges.Now we are thinking safety I checked the only sun light opening the sliding patio door behind the curtains.Door was open hing hook loose and missing screws.More ,but not safe.Very disappointed.And this is one of the Top Hotel ;No-way...
