The Omni Parker House, member of Historic Hotels of America, is proud to have the best location in the city of Boston. Situated along the Freedom Trail, at the foot of Beacon Hill, the Boston Common and Public Garden, next to Downtown Crossing, we are minutes away from Logan International Airport, all major subway lines, the Theater District, Faneuil Hall and cultural attractions including the Museum of Fine Art and New England Aquarium. The only aspect more famous than our location is our culinary legacy. From hiring the first celebrity French Chef in America, Chef Sanzian, in 1855 to launching the culinary careers of Emeril Lagasse, Lydia Shire, and Jasper White, to being the birthplace of Boston Cream Pie, Parker House rolls and the term Scrod, and now introducing their own Boston cream pie ice cream. Today, our Executive Chef prepares classic New England cuisine with contemporary flair in our three outlets, including fine dining in Parker's Restaurant and lighter, more casual fare in The Last Hurrah and Parker's Bar, as well as banquet feasts for groups up to 400. Our luxury hotel has 551 guestrooms and suites and 18 function rooms including the roof top ballroom, with spectacular views of the city skyline. Additional hotel features include, concierge service, valet parking, gym facility, room service, coffee shop, business center, wireless internet and our Select Guest Rewards customer loyalty program. Whether you are traveling with a partner, family, friends, or traveling for business, our timeless charm, modern amenities, culinary creations and gracious hospitality guarantee a wonderful stay for all. Hotel is 100 percent smoke free.

Fabulous hotel staff

The hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. Every single staff member that we encountered went out of their way to be helpful. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - easy to get to transportation and tourist points.

Couple getaway

In Boston for 3 days to discover the city, we were glad we booked this hotel right in the middle of downtown. Close to a bagel shop, many cafes and restaurant as well as most of the historic sightseeing, it couldn't get better than this! Every morning, we would hear the Park Street Church's bell. Nice reminder of the history of Boston. Note that valet parking is quite steep : $42 a night! But parking in downtown Boston could be a nightmare...

If you want to save and like to walk, the Freedom trail is right in front of the hotel and you just need to follow the red brick line to see everything Boston has to offer.

Highly Recommended

This is a great hotel with very friendly staff and old world charm. The Parker House is not fancy but its very clean and the rooms, while small, are very comfortable. Its only two blocks from each of the major subways in Boston. No need to take a cab from the airport since the subway will drop you off two blocks away in well under an hour. You can easily walk to all the great Boston attractions from here.

Brilliant location to get to know Boston

We stayed for 11 days and were very happy here. It was our first visit to Boston and this was a perfect introduction - so close to so many historical buildings, and the Red Line to Harvard is just down the road. There are good shopping streets very close by. Following the Freedon Trail was a lot of fun.

Conference Trip

The location is great--right off the Blue line, making it easy to get to and from Logan. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, the rooms nice enough. The room had a bit of a awkward layout with the bed on one side and the TV sort of stuck in the corner. Paying for the Internet is always annoying.

Elegant while historic

Omni Parker House staff could not be better. Rooms are immaculate and location is within walking distance to many historical sites as well as shopping, dining, and parking. No matter which restaurant in the hotel you choose, you will not be disappointed. It doesn't get much better than the Omni. Never had a bad stay there yet.

Great Stay, Great Location!

You could not ask for a better location to get around downtown Boston and with the various color "T" stations nearby it is easy to get around the area. The hotel had the most comfortable beds we ever slept on!! We definately recommend this hotel and will stay there again

Old dowager needs freshening up

The historic Omni Parker House is quite worn at the edges and needs a signficant overhaul. Our king bed room did not have any central heating. Heat was supplied by a window AC unit with a nonfunctioning temperature control, so the room was either roasting or freezing. The bathroom was too small for a bath, and the shower stall was tiny with just a tiny ledge for the soap and no space for shampoo or washcloth except on the floor. Housekeeping carts were out in the hall most waking hours and the staff kept the doors to their grubby work closets open. Walls were paper thin. The strong points were the excellent location, and the bed was very comfy, which are the only reason I would recommend it.
