I stayed at the hotel in the middle of the week as a getaway at the end of the summer. The best part of staying at this hotel is its location across the street from public access to the beach and its views of the bay from one side. It is also convenient to restaurants, a movie theater, and other attractions.
Our room with two double beds was nothing special but it was clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Although we controlled our own room temperature, the unit operated inconsistently.
The indoor pool was a plus, although the hot tub didn't work well while we were there.

Very nice motel, friendly staff , clean rooms, close to both the bay and ocean.. the only thing I saw that would take away from it is the pool was dirty other than that I would stay there again.

The hotel was surprisingly beautiful. I love to review where I stay. When I woke up, ironically, I said to my girlfriends that I could not wait to give this hotel a great review. Until.... I walked outside and the housekeep was completely NASTY. She said "Do you people need any clean towells?" I said "Yes". Her response was then go get my your dirty ones and sign here...then she walked away. So I went to the front desk and asked is there something I don't know about that this hotel does not clean the rooms on a regular basis? The woman at the front desk was qually nasty and said that "if I want it done she can call Housekeeping, but she doesn't know what their policies are!!!" I was floored!!! Completely shocked and it kind of ruined the first day at the beach.

Had a wonderful 1 night stay in this hotel. I enjoyed the room- very clean and nice. The bathroom was great with the overhead shower, and the jacuzzi jets in the bathtub. The view was perfect from my Eastern View room. I would absolutely stay again!

Perfect anniversary getaway

Me and my boyfriend of two years needed somewhere to get away for a day and have a romantic night together in Ocean City and this was the perfect hotel and location to stay. The staff was so nice and the room was very clean! We will definitely be coming back next year!

More than we expected for the money. This hotel is simple but they do everything they advertise, and are extra friendly, so I viewed this as a great value for my family. We spent most of the time at the beach and we had two toddlers so we werent really expecting to be really entertained but were still satisfied with everything the hotel had to offer(small kitchen, door dividing the bedroom, coffee maker, DVDs available at front desk, free lawn chairs you can sign out for the day). Although it is not located on the boardwalk its about a 10 minute drive and is close to all the other shops and restaurants you would expect from the beach, and its much cheaper than all the other hotels that are similar and have the same location. The only difference is that its not oceanfront but its only like 2 rows back so you save a lot of money for almost the same effect!

A Good Value near the beach

We enjoyed our stay at the Cayman Suites in Ocean City, Maryland. It's very close to the beach (about a half block or so to the dunes access) and near a number of very good restaurants. The suite was comfortable allowing us to have space to watch TV, read, relax and not crowd each other. The room had a microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, small stove, and kitchen sink. The room comes with dishes & utensils for four people. There is a pull out bed in the living room that we didn't need to use.
The staff was very friendly & very helpful. The beach chairs & beach towels were a nice touch! The entire trip was a pleasure and we'd like to return there. There's an indoor pool if it rains (one of the things we looked for when booking) and was quite nice. A good value for the money. We'd try booking in here again when coming back to Ocean City, MD.

the room could have been cleaner, but the view was spectacular from the ocean front room i rented, the hotel floors only seem to run up to the 4th floor & everything above is a condo or apt. , unusal surprise to find a ice skating rink just beyond the lobby, the pool & gym were great but they need to open the pool before 1pm!!!, also the restaurant closed around 5 pm on sunday, so no room service, but plenty of places to go outside.
it was great that the room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker and the h.d. tv was nice, all in all the price was right and I would stay there again

Ocean City Maryland is not an upscale vacation location and I did enjoy my stay. The hotel on the other hand is somewhat upscale. the staff was attentive and friendly. The room was large enough for a nice sofa and a 2 person table and chairs. The best part...they are "Pet Friendly" I didn't take my dog but will next time. They have 1 floor that is dedicated to pet owners.

Reservation was not in hotel system upon check in. Clerk finally contacted Orbitz and then we were all set. Our suite was very nice. Maid was very clean and thorough. Room was made up very quickly every day.
The indoor pool is gorgeous and saved a very rainy weekend.

This was a very beautiful getaway....My husband and I loved the view. It was peaceful and very relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem I had, was that there wasn't enough open the boardwalk. But I do understand it was bcause of the time of year we went. We went in February.

The air condition didnt work properly, but considering the short stay and the fact that it was Oct and not very hot (mid to low 70s) we didnt bother to ask to have it fixed.
A great value for an off season relaxing get away. Only stayed two nights, but would have liked to stay more.

We are located less than two blocks away from the ocean. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Boardwalk is only a few miles south and buses are available. Check in took only a couple of minutes and was very smooth. The room was clean, comfortable and toasty on this cold winter day. All the personnel, the front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping, were very nice. Will stay there again.

Went to Ocean City wanting to get out on the water. This hotel was easy to get to the harbor which was right around the block. Room was comfortable and clean. The staff was also very friendly

we check out a number of restaurants and other food locatons such as donut shops, ice creme shops etc, Grnade Hotel, had the best donut, bagel, and danish, that I found, not necessary the best selecton but the best tasting
The only thing missing was the bed was a little hard for me, but my fiance likes it that way.
I would stay at Grande Hotel, everytime, they have everything, including great service!

Arrived at 11am,able to pre-checkin,use changing room and pool, parking. til the 3pm checkin time.
This was very nice.Front desk people were very friendly.Very Family friendly hotel, close to a regular grocery store and a 7-11.

I have things that were not great about this hotel, but none of them were the hotels fault.
Noisy people checked in next door, they had no concept of an indoor voice, or any way to keep a toddler from screaming constantly. lol!!!!!!
What I can say is the room was good, staff for the most part was nice, I would have said outstanding accept when I checked out they did not ask how my stay was, or thank me for my business, or say, "Thanks please come again"...... If they would have done that I would have said they were outstanding.
View was good, kitchenette was good, but fridge worked a little too good and wanted to freeze everything.
Shower was also good.
Location was very nice.
The price was reasonable.
I'd stay here again.
Take a big box fan with you in case you have a noisy neighbor though, walls seem to be paper thin.
The fan would help drown their noise out.
Over all not bad.

check in time could be a little earlery, room was a little small, great location right on boarwalk, so many bikes we had to park park a block & 1/2 in pouring down rain, but still overall it was nice, would stay again at bike week next year,

The room was TINY with an equally TINY bathroom. To us, it was no big deal. We stayed 3 nights and literally used the room for sleeping and showering. The room was clean enough and NO, I repeat, NO bedbugs! And the tiny room was not so bad, however, the lack of space in the bathroom to do my hair and makeup was a pain in the butt, however, I am a resourceful gal and got around it. We needed maintainence up to our room one evening and they were prompt and quickly resolved our problem. When I left the housekeeper a note, we got fresh towels. Overall, the stay was great!

+'s- Location, staff, decent pool, hot water, NO bedbugs, TV, A/C works great.
-'s- broken bed springs, stained curtains, bathroom ceiling need to be replaced, musty smell.
It's not unbearable; unless you're a sissy la la princess.
How to Survive: Turn on A/C to get rid of smell, bring Febreze, sleep on the other bed, and don't look at the curtains or ceiling.

The room was small but clean. I wouldn't suggest it for groups of more than two. The location is great. The pool is very nice. For what we paid, it was well worth it. I probably wouldn't stay here for the regular peak season rates, but for the week stayed and the rate we got...would stay again.

Trip was great but I wish the room we stayed in was on a higher level so we had a better view of the beach, the first floor didn't cut it. Other than that great room nice and big clean and satisfying also wasn't aware of a security deposit please note that next time that hotels may require it on hotels that do.

It was a perfect end to the year. The weather was great and our stay at the Quality Inn couldn't be better. The oceanfront room was really big, a sitting area, small kitchen and best of all a second toilet! Which was good because somehow we locked ourselves out of the main bathroom, but the staff quickly arrived when we called the front desk. The pool area was very nice and the whirlpool bathtub in your room was a nice touch. Restaurants are just a couple blocks away, Coin's with great crabcakes or Mother's Cantina has great mexican.

Location, facilities and parking garage was very convenient. It was nice to have a very affordable breakfast restaurant in the hotel. It was nice to have a lot of attractions and dinning within walking distance. Roof top pool great but a little small. Indoor pool also small and water was always cloudy. Short walk to the beach was great. Owner/management needs to invest some money back into the building.....wallpaper peeling off walls, carpeting in non-smoking room with cig burn marks and screens on the screen door on balcony needs replaced.

My wife and I stayed here June 7th thru 10th, 2011, Room was very nice, view of the ocean (Ocean Front) Hotel was close to everything. They do need to dust in the hallways a little, but other then that it was great.

Right at the boardwalk. Had a great restaurant. Good food, and convenient for breakfast. Room was small, but adequate. People at hotel very pleasant. My only real complaint....never any ice in the ice machines. Overall, a great stay.
