Seabonay Motel

This hotel is dated, but clean and free from BEDBUGS! However the night I stayed with my friend and our children it was VERY noisey. I had to call front desk twice, finally the police had to be called to quiet down the noice level. The walls are very thin so you can hear every noise from outside and other rooms. If I wanted a quick get away that was cheap I would probably stay again. One night is OK. Wouldnt spend any longer.

+'s- Location, staff, decent pool, hot water, NO bedbugs, TV, A/C works great. -'s- broken bed springs, stained curtains, bathroom ceiling need to be replaced, musty smell. It's not unbearable; unless you're a sissy la la princess. How to Survive: Turn on A/C to get rid of smell, bring Febreze, sleep on the other bed, and don't look at the curtains or ceiling.

What can I say?? When we opened the door we were hit with a terrible musty smell. Tub had rings around it, hair in the drain, mildew grout, and tile was badly stained. We knew this hotel was old going in, so thank goodness the beds were very comfortable, almost made it bearable. It was clean, except for the above. This motel would be great IF they made renovations.

The room was small but clean. I wouldn't suggest it for groups of more than two. The location is great. The pool is very nice. For what we paid, it was well worth it. I probably wouldn't stay here for the regular peak season rates, but for the week stayed and the rate we got...would stay again.

The night manager was mean and had no personality. The maid was fantastic.

The hotel was nice for its location. It was right at the end of the boardwalk, near the train station. My husband I and went during the middle of the week, Tues to Thursday. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 in the morning, we were hoping to catch the beach early because of a threat of rain. Our room was not ready, but the hotel clerk told us to grab our suits and change at the public bathrooms at the end of the alley. There is a sign that states you can not do that, even though I am sure that others do. I would like to state that when they say check in at 3, they mean check in at 3. Just glad that we got in the room before the thunderstorms started. The beds are also small, I slept in a bed by myself and so did my husband because of the size of the beds. They are just a bit bigger then a twin.

the hotel pictured on the internet...is ONE room...next to the OFFICE. NONE of the other rooms, look like the one in the picture! Rooms are small...2 double beds, a dresser, a tv and small refrigerator, crammed, not much room to move. Bathrooms look like they were the original bathrooms from opening of motel. good thing is, it's a block up from the boardwalk, and it's right on the beach! great location! would i stay again? NO.

The room was very clean, but a bit out dated. It is located right near the airport, which is a definite plus!

I was happy with this trip. I did not have any major issues while at this hotel. It is right on the beach and beds were comfortable. Did have some flies that wouldnt leave, but that did not effect our trip. We did not spend much time in the room when we were not sleeping. Pool was good size and staff was friendly.
