Howard Johnson Inn - Bangor

The location was excellent for sure. Very close to get back on 95. The first room we were given, we couldn't turn on the lights and the door couldn't shut. I had to go get another room. The bed was clean but the floor could have used a good cleaning and the the dust around the baseboards was a half-inch thick. The restaurant attached was very good and not expensive but the hotel itself could use a much needed renovation. Years ago Howard Johnson was always a place of quality. Where did that go.

This hotel was horrible, mold, dirty, smelly bad never stay again.

I stayed on 3-31-12. My only problem was that the management gave me a different price quote per person for the same room and did not honor their own 45 dollar a night deal for that room. The outdoor sign said "low as $45.00". The next morning the woman working the front desk just shrubbed her shoulders and said she didnt know what to tell me. Strange!!!

The staff was very helpful and the room was very spacious and clean. We will stay here again for sure.

I did not have a good experience at this hotel. It was very run down and dingy (even from the outside). No ID was asked of me when I checked in (I could have been anyone). The bathtub did not drain during the shower, so I ended up having to soap my feet last and rinse them off as I got out of the tub. One towel wasn't clean, and the entire place gave me that run down/dingy/gross feeling. The restaurant was good and the people there very friendly. Once I called for a wake up call, and no one ever answered the phone (I tried 3 times over span of 30 mins one night).

the room was pleasant. we chose this acomadation because they have a nice breafast resturant.

the staff very friendly at desk and the maid service does very well with taking care of rooms and getting you stuff when you ask for stuff

Fly flight was delayed coming in for my 5 night stay, called ahead to tell them I would not make it the first night but would be there the rest. When I showed up the next day they had given up my room because I had not checked in because of a "computer glitch," a problem that I noticed many others had while in lobby. They were completely vacant so I had to find I different hotel, because they cleared out my 5 night reservation despite calling ahead to let them know about the change in travel plans but I would be there for the remaining days of the reservation. I then booked at the Vacationland inn about a 10 minute drive from howard johnson where they also offer cab service to the airport, where the service was break with great morning breakfast.

Cheap Motel. The TV was broken and nobody could help or seemed to care. Room was average for the rates.

The room was dirty! There was hair all over the bathroom and when we turned down the sheets there was hair in the bed!!! The room had a bad smell as well. I will not ever stay there again and do not suggest that anyone stay there.
