Excellent in-town accomodations

  • robcar603
  • 26 Mar 2012
the Lord Camden Inn is an excellent choice for a Camden in-town experience. the location is perfect for walking to all venues in Camden. Parking is in a remote lot a block away but the you don't need a car for Camden activities. The breakfast arrangements are excellent and includes a waffle station. The "creek-side" balconies are quite charming with a great deal of aviary delights. The king bed was exquisite; the bathroom small but adequate and completely provisioned: the towels are the kind you read about, large and plush. In-room coffee was a nice touch. the TV was on the small side but adequate for news and weather updates.

Excellent Inn. The accomodations and service were very good without the hassles that happen at larger facilities. It was very quiet and restfull and enabled us to easily visit local interests. It was definitely the most relaxing place we stayed at in years. We would stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Lovely Inn

  • LG
  • 9 Aug 2010
I was only in Camden for a night but the town is adorable and the sunset over the water is beautiful. This inn is a little further away from town than others (a little over a mile) but is easy to walk to and from (unless you go in the dark in which case there are no lights). The rooms are really nice with a small patio where you can go drink coffee and see the greenery outside as well as a bit of the water. The staff was friendly and really helpful.

The young couple who own The Lodge were very friendly and engaging. One of the owners asked if we were familiar with Camden and when we said no, she gave us a map and pointed out several restaurants to eat at and other places we could vomit. It was just what we needed.
