Super 8 Lewiston Auburn Area

The room was suitable and had the basic amenities, but the hair dryer didn't work and had to be replaced just as we were getting ready to leave. I went to the front desk to ask for assistance and no one was there. I had to use the front desk phone to call someone! I was the first one up for the continental breakfast and the orange juice dispenser was empty, and I had to find my own spoon in the cupboards.

I travel quite frequenit was hard to tell if it was tly and have always found super 8 to be reasonably priced and clean. It was January 5th at 6 pm When i walked into my room . The heat was off and it was hard to decide if it was warmer outside than inside. the Fridge and corner light was unplugged, so the food i bought to put in the fridge i actually had to leavein my car until it got cool enough> there were 2 tv remotes and had to call down to figure out how to work tv. i also had to wash the tv screen as it was so filthy. the bathroom light had what seemed to be a 40 watt bulb and it was very hard to see while shaving. the coffee maker in the room was missing parts so i could not make a cup in the morning> the continental breakfast had a juice machine that was spitting out what was supposed to be orange juice and looked more like lemonade, the apple juice was the same. when i checked out there was noone at the desk, so i just left the key and got out of there

The beds are very uncomfortable like sleeping on the floor. Nothing works vendings are always empty

Service was friendly & good. Bed was comfortable, and an excellent family restaurant was just 100 yards away. Wireless Internet worked fine. Located in commercial neighborhood, very quiet at night. Negative: missing shower curtain.

Little scary pulling in to hotel as foreign individual standing in parking lot and then noticed the hotel sat right next to a less than desirable trailer park. Then pleasantly surprised that the rooms were quite neat and clean. Felt better that the rooms were inside the hotel but then found the door at the end of the all entering the hotel was broke and anyone could enter.

I found the motel clerk very helpful. It had internet so that was a plus. The heating unit in my room was broken like someone beat it up with a screwdriver. The tub coulduse replacing due to aging but it was a place to sleep. Oh yes, the mattress was very hard.

Bad location, Drunk patrons tried to invade room. Called several times for a refund. Have to keep calling. No response to request from manager. Would not recommend. Serious problems.

Before leaving I informed the nighttime manager that 1. the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy,it might have a bad bearing in it and in order to have heat from the unit in the room, I had to hold the button down. The buttons are broken.A refidgerater in the room would have been useful too.

In RUN-DOWN condition --

First of all, where did that picture come from in the "Super 8 Motel Lewiston - Auburn" title? There is no place that good looking in the whole hotel!!! Although the owners were friendly, the overall hotel was not very clean and the windows were open on 90 degree and above days. There were very few ameneties to be had. The towels were actually stained and stiff. If we could have left, we would have. I spoke with another couple staying one night, and they were not pleased, either.
