In a Pinch
Our 1st room (118) had a strong smell of mold and only had 1 light on the wall near the door. I think the 25W bulb in the bathroom could be stronger and a lamp on the night stand would be helpful. The room seemed to of had some recent construct-ion and debrie was left near the walls. We think, water damage! Our 2nd room was indeed much better, lighting, cleaner and generally a more comfortable room. If staying there again, I would request a room facing away from the highway, the noise through the night was too loud. One interesting note, the price was about $20 less than Cheap Tickets quoted us.

Upon arrival i forgot my printout of payment and the person at the front desk told me that they didn't get anything from Orbitz that stated i had paid . i couldn't check in until i found a place with a computer to go on line and get it from my email. I have paid for the room 2months in advance. This was the only hotel that was vacate and i see why Orbitz should take them off there list of hotels it was a horrible place so glad i had class reunion itinerary to keep me busy so all i had to do was sleep there and this was hard because it smell of mildew Loyalty need to be put on the health department list to visit

Not only was this hotel in an unsightly neighborhood, but it was by far the biggest dive of a hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were old, musty, and needed a desperate update and cleaning. TV did not work.

Single dad with familly
" worst looking hotel"
This was my first time in Michigan (St.Joseph & Benton harbor). The hotel was a complete dump, no pride was taken in this hotel at all. The owner and management should shut the place down and work on it.

The motel is in the process of renovation. Two sections were complete. [...] we had to spend one night in an old normally unused room. BEING THE july 4th weekend the were fully booked in the new sections. The manager was nice and explained what happened and moved our luggage to the new room for us. The motel is clean andthe breakfast was fair. [...]

Reasonable for the price
We booked this hotel for a wedding and the hotel was pretty shady on the outside but wasn't to bad on the inside. The woman at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. As far as the entire trip [...]tried to charge us twice and the lady at the hotel fixed everything for us. I would book a room at this hotel again [...]
